They're replaced with On The Floor going strong, and Levels, which sees a 30-place year-on-year rise. It's hard to not make the inference that tragic events had an effect on its sudden shoot up but it is a fantastic piece of dance-pop that I'm glad is getting some well deserved recognition here. We Found Love, as normal, retains its position as 2011 dominator with ease.

I hope this was an intentional pun x Poor 'Endless' getting points from nobody else though, but I knew it was a long shot. It's a quintessential dreamy summer song to me, but also a random single buried amongst her discography that I'm lucky I stumbled on by listening through her singles one day. I didn't think anyone shared my opinion until I once saw it smash in a rate on the Popjustice forum, so I wondered if it might have some slight popularity over here too.

Success for my other nominations though *.* I loved seeing 'Heavy Metal Lover' pick up a few high scores over the week as an album track that, I presume, hasn't been in ROTD before. Hopefully 'Marry The Night' can become an AQ (again? I can't remember if it has before) someday and maybe dislodge 'Judas' which is great but not 'top 2 of the album' great. My +30 and +27 being within 3 spots of AQ-ing though clearly the self-proclaimed curse continues.

 

'Mr. Saxobeat' was one of the songs I was most surprised about not being on the initial list; this rebound feels more right.

I enjoy 'Endless' too, shame that isn't very well known, but there were too many better songs for me to have given it anything.
