Kat is an excellent actor. I forgot Alfie took the kids over an affair when he um also had an affair - and got a baby out of it, and an affair with her COUSIN.

In all fairness, that baby was clearly 3 months old already when it popped out of Hayley.

I think the show has been top notch these past few days. I knew Kat would help Hayley, but she's such a good actress that for a minute I started to wonder if she was helping that awful woman.

 

Her rant vs Alfie was gooold! Worried for Tiffany, but this is the direction the show should go in. EWWW at that creepy Louise old man scene. All this happening at once is very soap opera, but very classic Eastenders. LOL at the pan scene! Max should be dead.

 

The Carters stuff is dramatic, but absolutely ridiculous. If they hadn't SHOWN us Stuart as evil etc, then maybe we could have sympathisrd with him and Linda and not believed Tina. But knowing he was evil from the start has ruined it.

 

They KIIINDA bandaged the Tardis house, but come on. All they have to do is have the Slaters rent the next door house too, or Whit etc. Then have them as really good friends ALWAYS ROUND the Slater house, even at breakfast, like a closeknit group. That's all that needs to happen

There needs to be a spin off show that just follows Jean whilst she’s cleaning people’s houses.

Very minor point but I find it hard to believe Mick's clothes would be that baggy on Stuart.

The waistcoat was left open because Stuart would never fit in that.

Eastenders has been hilarious recently. I CALLED IT!! I KNEW LINDA HAD TO BE PRETENDING!! Otherwise none of it would have made any sense.

I don’t think anyone thought Linda was legit.

What is this Kat storyline? (Also Kathy for when?? Worst comeback ever.) We ALL SAW!!! Charlie's reaction to Harry. He was FURIOUS. No dad is gonna let someone do that to his daughter. GROSS. Why is there so much gross stuff in the soap atm? Who thought oh, that's uncomfortable, let's get Stuart on and then Harry? Gross. This revisionist stuff to Charlie's character is not on.

 

 

Great episode tonight! Really well scripted; characters were talking like actual people and true to themselves and the dialogue was sharp, engaging and, at times, entertaining. As actors, everyone gave strong performances and it was nice to see the cast as an ensemble. Also, this had to be the most The Vic has felt like a proper pub in probably years.
