It's strange a left over track from a previous studio album recording session was used as a single, going that route they had so so much better to choose from.

 

I think Kylie responded to social media interest in the track plus it gave fans something different after ‘Golden’.

 

I think if the fans hadn’t pushed for a studio version of this then we wouldn’t have had anything new on the album, with them struggling to cram all her hits on a double disc there is no need IMO to add new tracks.

Which left over songs from previous albums would you have added to the SBIT album instead of New York City?

4 years since ‘New York City’ - pretty sure I’m the only one that loves this song :lol:

 

I used to bop to it occasionally, but in the last couple of years it's fallen off my radar to the point I forget it exists :lol:

Never a fan of this song, they really should have released something better to promote a collection that reflected her career. I know she wouldnt get big single success regardless but I think this was a bad choice.
