I must say, overall I've been really disappointed with this album.

I love Blurryface and Vessel, but none of the singles have really impressed me so far. I was hyped for Trench, but not so much anymore.

I lost all hype after the first few songs (I really enjoyed My Blood though) but the album is great! The songs they put out were some of the weakest, bizarre decision
Listened to the first half of the album earlier, it's ok but I got a bit bored and stopped listening :/ I'll have to give it another try since I loved Blurryface but this is a bit meh on first listen (aside from Chlorine which is really good!)

Heard this album a couple of times now. Now that I'm becoming more familiar with the tracks, I'm liking it more... However, I'd be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed. It's all very.. "if TØP did an album for Radio 2" it sounds a bit safe and.. bland for majority of it.

Jumpsuit is still incredible. Levitate is great, just too short. Chlorine is fantastic too as well as Hype and Pet Cheetah is brilliant too. Legend reminds me of another song of theirs but the title has escaped my head  and 'Leave The City' is stunning.

Everything else is decent-good. There aren't as many genre switch ups per song either which is disappointing. But I'll stick with it. It's decent enough, just a bit too safe for them.

It's definitely not as bad as I was expecting. I felt they definitely released the weakest songs as the album, though many of the songs on the album do sound really similar.

My favourite song is The Hype.

Really disappointed by this, Blurryface was by far my album of the year in 2016 (ik it was 2015 but I didn't hear it until then and it conincided with SO being a UK hit etc. and me getting into them), it had so many layers too it and represented so many things in so many ways, I know I should judge this on its own but coming off of that and the hype it built, this falls pretty flat :( It all blends into one a bit, safe is definitely the word. It's by no means bad, they're all competent songs, but I found myself a bit bored listening to it :/ I'm thinking the album might need more listens though, it's all quite subtle and safe and chilled whereas with Blurryface there were risks and places where it was a lot more direct and aggressive to hit you.

Nothing touches Jumpsuit, the really rocky bit at the end is easily the moment of the album <3 Leave This City, The Hype and Chlorine would probably be my faves on first listen outside of the songs we already heard which are the best of the album really...

Hmm, My problem is the last album was very experimental in terms of almost fitting into different genres but still feeling rock/punk. However a lot of the tracks feel simular. I do really like Chlorine, Neon Gravestones, Legends and The Hype out of the AT's.

A brill cover  They (Well Tyler really) also did "My Blood", "Ride" and "Neon Gravestones" in the live lounge.

So they're finally coming to their senses.

They're dropping the 'Chlorine' video tomorrow!! Hopefully a BRITs performance for them this year and they can give 'Chlorine' the hit status it deserves

Never thought I'd say this about one of their videos butttt...

THAT WAS SO FREAKING CUTE OMG.
