Did you finish reading Reveal Laura, I never got around to it, I am going to read it cover to cover over Xmas ;)

That pink flowery shirt he had on at the end would frighten anyone off & I think they are Gucci believe it or not or else he got them in Blackpool whilst shopping with his Dad

I bet the XF contestants they were told not to touch him too much -_- , he will be washing for weeks :P

No I didn't really finish it Tess - About 90%

Maybe at Christmas we should read the same bit on the same night and then we can discuss.

Those shirts are hundreds of pounds each but too much pattern make my eyes go

He wouldn't have liked all the rushing in and hugging bit. I bet his social anxiety was going off the scale.

I am excited to see what he is going to do with the groups though. I'm kind of settling into XF more now. I'm starting to care what happens. Plus I've got a real soft spot for Simon. ^_^

Good idea about the book, we will do that Laura , I will start reading it again in December, probably go back to the beginning

The social anxiety bit made me laugh , well that's the job so he has to put up with all that hugging

Simon looks like he is thrilled with his judges lineup , they are the most uncompetitive group I have ever seen, they need to ramp it up a bit from now on :P

Simon seems really happy about it all. What happened to his "Mr Nasty" reputation? He's all warm and fuzzy now.

I've always had a soft spot for him. Especially in his glasses.

National Treasure has to be about Simon doesn't it? I've always thought so . Love this song.

"National Treasure"

The car's always there at nine

Though he's never out on time

Night after night

Line after line

He'll be fine

I suppose

The famous Mr. Jones

He really should relax

He's due a heart attack

Though there's no heart to attack

Is it an act?

No one knows

The naughty Mr. Jones

In a world full of weird, you're the oddest ever

Heard you brought everyone here so much pleasure, clever

We all know that you know you're a national treasure

Mrs. Jones you made the best boy ever, ever

E-V-E-R

He's careful with his weight

Pushes food around the plate

He can never pass as straight

Ask his mates

How it goes

The careful Mr. Jones

Even his mother thinks he's odd

He hasn't got a proper job

But he says neither did God

And he's the Lord

As it goes

The mighty Mr. Jones

In a world full of weird, you're the oddest ever

Heard you brought everyone here so much pleasure, clever

We all know that you know you're a national treasure

Mrs. Jones you made the best boy ever, ever

E-V-E-R

In a world full of weird, you're the oddest ever

Heard you brought everyone here so much pleasure, clever

We all know that you know you're a national treasure

Mrs. Jones you made the best boy ever, ever

The moral of this tale

Is when everything's for sale

Good men seldom prevail

They all fail

As he knows

The gifted Mr. Jones

David Walliams dont' you think

I think with the XF thing - you take on the job and maybe you underestimate how hard it will be. As it starts going through the weeks and you begin to get to know the acts and who you're mentoring - then you start to care on a personal level.

Then you have to start crushing people's dreams - no one would find that easy. Unless you were an automaton anyway.

Add a new baby into the mix with all the feelings that brings. It would get emotional. -_-

this weeksis the last show pre recorded? Then judges House and then they have to be back in the UK. If I saw it correct yesterday on twitter in Chile they had to move to a huger venue?

Did they? That's good. I was wondering how ticket sales were going after 12 years. :)

This weekend it's Six Chair Challenge Elisabeth. I guess that's both Saturday and Sunday.

Then next weekend Judges Houses? Saturday and Sunday again?

After that it must be the live shows.

they are quite unspectaculair this time with the guest judges so far. David Walliams for Rob, the 50 whoever guest judges for Simon including ex girl friends, and Stacey whoever for Ayda? But maybe the impact in the UK will be different as David Walliams is hardly known in Europe (as far as I know)
That surprises me elisabeth. For some reason I thought David Walliams was known all over Europe . I just assumed. .

Just caught up with it.

I think Ayda did well tonight - held her nerve. Good golden buzzer decision in Ricky too. B-)

I'm not understanding all the fuss about Bella though.

Other than her I think the girls group is very strong.

We know David here in the Netherlands when we watch BGT. But who is not watching UK shows will not know him. I also only know him because he is linked to Rob just as James Corden in the past.

To be honest, there are not even many people who know Simon Cowell outside the UK and the US. In Germany the equivalent to x-factor is called Germany seeks the superstar. Their Simon Cowell is the founder and ex-leadsinger of Modern Talking who is producing almost every huge star in Germany. His name is Dieter Bohlen. He could be as mean as Simon. But the last season e mellowed. I watch this sometimes during ironing (Holland also broadcasts German TV). And since ten years they say the show is over and done. But then the next year it starts again and again people queue in the hope of fame. After one number one single 99% are gone

As a show I cannot warm to the XF.. i doubt it will be on must sees for 2019 😄

Nice that Robbie is showing the serious side of himself which is good and not what people are used to seeing so that is refreshing

You surprise me again Elisabeth. I thought he was known everywhere.

Best bit of the whole series for me tonight.

Whether it was contrived or not - it was a lovely moment. I love that Mr Williams. He's such a sweetheart.

Watching the boys Six Chair Challenge on TV compared to seeing it in real life confirmed two things:

1. They are cutting down the song time from three minutes to twenty seconds and that makes for a very choppy show.

2. Other than Tommy the guy who fell off stage - I think the boys group is very weak and there's no one there that I could imagine winning.

My two favourites are Shan in the girls section and Ricky in the overs.

We get to see the groups next week and Judges Houses.
