I'm pretty sure most of the Judges' Houses are specially rented out each year for the show anyway.

I guess you are right about that .... wonder where it will be , do they do it straight away or wait until nearer the live shows so it's kept a secret

There was one good singer who gave a really pretentious answer when Louis asked him why he wanted to be on X Factor.

He gave this long rambling diatribe about suffering and how his stomach was full of the wings of others.

Robbie said to him "Ayda will testify that my stomach is full of chicken wings".

Did the guy see the funny side of it :P

So if Robbie is gutted about missing two of the live shows I guess he will appear for the remainder & Sharon O will fill in for him while he is away which would indicate that the SA tour will be short & sweet

But it's never a secret now is it. with social media - nothing is a secret.

In past years when Robbie was helping Gary or Sharon we knew about it as it was happening. I'm fully expecting the same thing to happen this time around.

Can't remember. I was too busy laughing.

I think it will be short and sweet. I wonder with hindsight whether he regrets the South America shows now.

I bet he had no intention of doing XF when he decided to tour SA , typical Robbie

I think you're right.

I think it happened exactly as Simon said - right on the spur of the moment. One day they weren't doing it, the next day they were. In fact in Upfront a few weeks ago RW wrote "I've just agreed to something". I think that was either the World Cup performance or XF.

Whether it succeeds or fails, it'll be an adventure for them to look back on.

The Aussie boys FF TM were at the XF auditions recently, I wonder if work on Robbie's new album is in the pipeline given the fact he is on XF & the timing is a good opportunity to promote it but he sure is going to be busy

I don't think so.

Before the XF announcement he said there would be new music in the form of UTR3. Hopefully he'll still be able to do that so we'll get new music. :cheer:

I don't think a new album is anywhere close at the minute.

Edit: maybe the Aussie boys are there to help with UTR3?

It's not cool to be petty but I'm going to do it anyway :P

I was reading with mild interest online about Nick Grimshaw's last show for Radio One breakfast show today.

He was asked about X Factor and said he "was excited" by the new panel. <_<

Wasn't he the one when there was all that discussion six years ago about Robbie no longer being a suitable artist for Radio One say that he "couldn't name a single RW song"?

Odd then that he feels able to make a judgement on his brand new judging skills when he has no idea of his 28 year back catalogue.
