As some of you may know I'm a musician and I've started to release some of my own stuff (well, I'm half of a two piece electronic band) and just wanted to share it, site of music fans and all that, see what you think. Was thinking about posting this in the lounge but it seems like here's a better place for it, makes me feel less self conscious about it because it fits in better. Shoutout to Leww for artwork and Lindsey for the logo in my signature :wub: (which we're also using on Facebook etc).

I quite like this! :D It's a lot better than I was expecting too (not that I had low expectations, just that they weren't high? idk) Will definitely give the others a listen too!

Yeah they sound quite nice! The vocals reminded me a bit of Infant Eyes by Union of Knives (although listening to that now they don't seem that similar)

For clarity I'm the backing vocalist in this one (I'm taking lead on the next one), that's my friend singing lead, he wrote the lyrics (and in our set up whoever writes the lyrics takes lead) so this one's more his in terms of writing, I worked on some of the instrumentation and ofc backing vox.

Also I'm not sure why I did it but I just gave you your first Shazam :lol:

Thanks for posting your song, it's so cool to know someone with an actual professional song on Youtube and Shazam and whatnot! I was expecting it to be rock rather than electronic and tbh I'm actually more impressed that it's not rock. Well done!

Some of our stuff will have rockier/ industrial elements but at our core we're going to be more of an electronic band/ project.

I did lead vocals this time and this one's quite different. Interestingly enough we started it at a similar time to Hope In This but abandoned it for like 2 years. Then made it a lot better.

 

This time round we got Linkin Park, Muse influences. But still a bit electronic and weird, keeping a bit of NIN there.
