Is tomorrow its official full release day?

 

It seems to be - we have the lyric video and standalone single at midnight, I’m sure a remix EP will appear too. Really hope there is some promo to come - I think they will want to push this single to promote the tour.

It would be wonderful if they push the single as it will have benefits not just to the song itself, but also the tour and album sales.

Well it can't do any worse than golden.

Just downloaded :cheer: Hopefully this can at least make the iTunes Top 100?!

118 on iTunes - already about 400 places better than Golden achieved, hopefully BMG understand all they need to do is give us a stand-alone single to get a few sales :lol:

As it stands and it's released 12 hours it has out performed golden :dance:

If she had released a phyisical this week she could possibly have got another top 75 hit.

We are not expecting great things for the single.

That said, as pointed out, it has already out performed Golden.

For this to stand any chance of success it needed to be added to playlists like mentioned.

A physical as also mentioned and promotion to back it up.

All combined for this week would possibly have resulted in the single charting.

It would be wonderful if the album can climb the chart due to the single release.

I think BMG/Kylie need to actively try and engage fans into streaming tbh - they could start by using social media with links to the song, neither BMG or Kylie’s accounts have even bothered to promote today’s release yet. BMG also need to start spending some £££ to get on a playlist or two!

It's essentially pointless if they can't get key additions on Spotify's playlists.

The playlists are essential and they do need to invest capital into it and also use social media more to their advantage.

She’s shared a post about the release on Instagram and there is a link on her page to the song - all we need now is the official video, TV Promo and a CD and 7’ vinyl bundle :lol:

If we get that, she has a hit on her hands :unsure:

Yep at this point I’d be happy with a #98 chart smash! To think I was devastated at the lack of success at the time for Word Is Out, Celebration, Some Kind Of Bliss etc., and now I’d be happy with a Top 100 :lol:

Ya kylie missing the top 10 at one time was like this is bad and now if she makes the top 100 it's like wow and getting into the top 40 is like getting a number 1.

Dropping quickly on iTunes now - currently #65 although I’m happy it managed to reach #44.

 

I hate all the up and down we get though - it’ll probably fall out of the iTunes chart before airplay and (hopefully!) promo starts so leads to sales being split over multiple weeks which an act like Kylie can’t afford but whatever - glad we got a new mix and single cover for this release.
