August 3, 20188 yr 32 | 31 | 12th week ZieZie Fine Girl - 4th Single Released: 6th March 2018 Label: Sony Music Entertainment UK Chart Statistics NE (24/05/2018) | 83-67-73-63-62-50-45-46-38-39-31-32 Sales: 100k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 81 Sales 45 Audio Streaming 59 Video Streaming Video As1pRzoKmJ8 Biography Introducing ZieZie, the south London talent with an eclectic sound and dreams to make it big. Though he has only been making music since December 2016, the 19-year-old from Croydon has made big waves already, with his track 'Mingle' reaching 1.2 million YouTube views and having signed a record deal with Sony RCA. With infectious melodies, unforgettable lyrics and upper-echelon performance energies, this young man is going places fast. ZieZie was born into a Congolese family, and his late father granted him the name he would later don, which has proven to have become a self-fulfilling prophecy. "My dad used to call me ZeZe when I was younger, which means someone who's very active, creative and crazy," he explains. "Everyone had a nickname and so that became mine." He began singing at the age of 11, joining the school choir after being encouraged by his teachers, and immersed himself in different genres that have had an indelible mark on his style. He describes his music as versatile, saying: "I mix up the genres. I could do rock music, a ballad, afrobeats, hip-hop, so I haven't got a fixed genre. Ever since I was younger, I was open to different sounds as long as I liked it." Growing up, ZieZie took to US rap and his earliest influence Lil Wayne, before immersing himself in the music of Beyonce, Rihanna and Drake, but his is a style that he has methodically put together to stand out from the pack. "I'm a visual learner, so when I see someone, I need to make sure I'm putting my spin on it," he says. "When someone listens to me they can't trace it back to that person. I didn't want to get into music without having a unique sound, so I had to make sure it was." Balancing a full-time education at college, his mother's sudden departure to the Congo to care for his ailing grandmother in 2016 gave ZieZie the chance to spread his musical wings. "I had to miss a week of college to look after my little brother and sister," he recalls. "She ended up not coming back for about five months, so I missed all that time of college and I was thinking about what I wanted to do in life. So, I thought, with music, what have I got to lose, so I put my all in and didn't give myself a Plan B." ZieZie posted his first song on Soundcloud at the end of that year, and now working closely with the skilful production duo, Ill Blu ,he is honing in on crafting his infusion of Afrobeat productions, dancehall melodies & the high energy of UK Rap. His latest single 'Fine Girl' is sitting pretty with 1.5 million Spotify streams, but he strives for so much more with his music. "I want [my music] to bring people together, to listen and feel comfortable in an open environment," he says. "Some people are shook to listen to a particular type of music around their friends because they think they might be judged. But I want them to listen to my music in front of their friends and vibe to it, take it away and share it with their friends. I like to keep my music clean in the sense that I'm giving out a good message to the youth. I want them to listen to my music and think differently about life." ZieZie's magnetic force and undeterred focus on music sets him apart and, with a debut album planned for this year, an exciting 2018 is on his horizon. - Primary Talent Top 100 Chart History 2018 31 Fine Girl -1- Social Media http://i.imgur.com/sx7weFD.png http://i.imgur.com/P4ObJLe.png http://i.imgur.com/TUafYW0.png http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

Born Martijn Garritsen, the then-16-year-old DJ spent 2012 remixing Aguilera, signing with Spinnin' Records, and releasing the "BFAM" single in collaboration with Julian Jordan. In 2013 he released his solo single, "Animals," which hit number one in the U.K. and reached the Top Ten in eight other countries. The following year was a busy one: early in 2014, "Wizard" (featuring Jay Hardway) charted Top Ten across Europe, and "Helicopter" (featuring Firebeatz) did nearly as well. His Gold Skies EP rounded up those tracks, adding two more charting songs: "Tremor" (featuring Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike) and the title track (featuring Sander van Doorn and DVBBS). Garrix also found time to perform and mix the world over, climbing as high as number four in DJ Magazine's Top 100 list. He also worked on new material with artists ranging from Afrojack to Ed Sheeran. In early 2015, experiments in progressive house led to the release of "Forbidden Voices," which he quickly followed with the Usher-assisted "Don't Look Down." Garrix's busy year continued as he collaborated on singles with Ed Sheeran, Avicii, Tiësto, and later, the Break Through the Silence EP with Russian DJs Matisse & Sadko. After splitting with Spinnin' Records, Garrix launched his own STMPD RCRDS label, which he inaugurated with the single "Now That I've Found You" in March 2016. Months later, it was announced that Garrix had inked a deal with Sony Music International. By year's end, he was named DJ Mag's top DJ in the world. In addition to "In the Name of Love," his 2016 multiplatinum hit single with Bebe Rexha, Garrix scored another hit with 2017's "Scared to Be Lonely," a collaboration with Dua Lipa. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Martin Garrix 2013 01 Animals -NAS- 2014 07 Wizard (Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway) -NAS- 2014 30 Tremor (Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix & Like Mike) -NAS- 2014 49 Gold Skies (Sander Van Doorn, Martin Garrix & DVBBS feat. Drake initially gained recognition as an actor on the teen drama television series Degrassi: The Next Generation in the early 2000s. Intent on pursuing a career as a rapper, he departed the series in 2007 following the release of his debut mixtape, Room for Improvement. He released two further independent projects, Comeback Season and So Far Gone, before signing to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment in June 2009. Drake released his debut studio album Thank Me Later in 2010, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and was soon certified platinum by the RIAA. His next two releases, 2011's Take Care and 2013's Nothing Was the Same, were both critically and commercially successful; the former earned him his first Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. In 2015, he released two mixtapes—the trap-influenced If You're Reading This It's Too Late and a collaboration with Future titled What a Time to Be Alive—both of which earned platinum certification in the U.S. His fourth album, Views (2016), broke several chart records. The dancehall-influenced album sat atop the Billboard 200 for thirteen nonconsecutive weeks, becoming the first album by a male solo artist to do so in over ten years. The album's second single, "One Dance", topped the charts in several countries, including the US, the UK, and Canada, where it became his first number one single as a lead artist. That year, Drake lead both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts simultaneously for eight weeks. Views achieved quadruple platinum status in the US, and earned over 1 million album-equivalent units in the first week of its release. Its lead single "Hotline Bling" received Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Sung Performance and Best Rap Song. In 2017, he released the mixtape More Life. Described by Drake as a "playlist", it became his seventh consecutive number one on the Billboard 200, and set multiple streaming records. A year later, he released the double album Scorpion, which also broke several streaming records. Drake holds several Billboard chart records. He has the most charted songs (154) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (24), the most time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks) and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (21). He also has the most number one singles on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic Charts. Drake has also won three Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, a record thirteen Billboard Music Awards, and is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with over 200 million estimated global sales. As an entrepreneur, Drake has founded the OVO Sound record label with longtime collaborator, 40, as well as using the "OVO" moniker to create a clothing line and program on Beats 1 Radio. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2009 42 Forever (Drake feat. He is best known for being the lead singer of the Camden-based grime trio N-Dubz, with his cousin Tulisa, and Fazer. He was known for his slightly unusual dress sense and his love for what he describes as "eye-catching headwear". His trademark was wearing a selection of woolly chullos (sometimes referred to as "Dappy hats"), turning up one or both of the ear-flaps of the hat. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Dappy 2011 05 Spaceship (Tinchy Stryder & Dappy) -NAS- 2011 01 No Regrets -1- 2012 02 Rockstar (Dappy feat. August 3, 20188 yr Jet2 are the kings of playing MOR stuff- heard Rick Astley and Kylie songs on their planes before
August 3, 20188 yr I've been enjoying "Fine Girl" but it hasn't developed into one of my very favourites of the moment. One of the better urban tracks of the year for me. -- Still surprised "Bed" hasn't been doing much, though floating around the 21-40 region it seems. -- Again still surprised at Dappy's success. I wonder if an N-Dubz success would do anything or whether they wouldn't be taken seriously... they were a bit novelty really.
August 3, 20188 yr Good. Dappy can keep falling now. The Fredo song is alright not the best but at least it gives the chart a second New entry.
