Omg this...just how is he (or her) going to perform on Saturday like normal with this hanging over him, and with Katya's husband right next to them :lol: Such a shame as I was enjoying them and poor Rebecca/Neil :(

I can see him withdrawing tbh, I know there's always the "Strictly curse" hanging over things and it was attributed to Louise/Jamie Redknapp splitting for example and Ben Cohen cheated with Kristina, but I can't remember something like this raging during the actual show and someone being exposed as such an awful person. Strictly normally avoids this kind of on-season drama!

I'm really disappointed because I've always loved Seann's comedy, it's a real shame and I feel really sorry for his ex-girlfriend.

From DS: It was reported that Seann and Katya were set to perform a sexy salsa or tango, but BBC producers apparently made them change it to avoid anything too "touchy-feely". Digital Spy reached out to the BBC, who refused to comment on those reports. :lol:

Even if he doesn’t withdraw he’s probably a goner this week or next. I’m not entirely sure how Katie’s votes will hold up but who is gonna vote for him after that?

I can see his Paso being an anomaly anyway but I doubt he will get support now. Probably for the best to save the tiniest bit of face they don't do anything like a salsa, tango or Rumba :lol:

 

Katie probably has another couple of weeks left in her, she's one of the loveliest people possible and people love a good journey narrative, so if she keeps getting better then she could do quite well.

I suppose it all depends which of the upped scores from Movie Week are anamolies, I can imagine Seann for sure and maybe Graeme just because of good choreography and fun routines, Stacey perhaps too might collapse back below 30 but obv she's gonna be fine for weeks yet, she screams finalist unless something goes majorly wrong or there's a dance-off of like her and Faye/Ashley too early. This series seems so close though so who knows?

I'm thinking the whole Seann drama might actually help keep them in the contest a little bit longer than being evicted this week. I get what they did was wrong but I don't see why he should withdraw though? Mistakes happen and obviously there's something going on in their personal lives. I'm here for them to survive every week now because they will be getting the most exposure / most publicity so I'm sure Strictly in the long run will be hoping they survive for those newspaper headlines.

They won't, the BBC will be raging :lol: A lot of the appeal and success of Strictly is that they don't have all this fuss and drama, it's just a good fun family dancing show. The BBC won't want and doesn't need storms and negative press for viewers, it's not Big Brother.

Also, IF the rumours are true that celebrities aren’t signing up because of the Strictly curse - this is one of the biggest examples of the ‘curse’ in recent years oops.

No thoughts from Shirley at all on This Morning, about the Seann drama.

That Seann & Katya interview on It Takes Two was just plain uncomfortable (yet must see) viewing. I don't think they should pull out, but then I can't see how they can continue much longer - it must be so awkward in the training room now.

Katya's success with her previous 2 partners is because she gives them great choreography which is brought out even more by the fact she seems to connect and have fun with them. If there's such an awkward air as there obviously will be with her and Seann, it's going to bring down their whole routines when Seann hardly has the ability to get over that in the first place :lol:

Exactly this. Which makes the decision for Seann and Katya to remain in all the more baffling. That 'It Takes Two' interview yesterday, my God. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife, it was awful. If they're not voted off this weekend I will be very surprised. This has the potential to derail the show.
