I did kinda advertise that contest as a deep house one but also send tropical or future if you like so that wasn't too surprising.

 

It may well be worth a try but I'm just thinking that trap is probably less popular than dubstep here so we may well end up with quite a few sub-par trap songs in place of great dubstep entries. Just my thoughts.

I'm fine with Dobstep :P I was thinking of other genres and if I ever get to host again I would do a strings theme! Or we could not necessarily do a genre based contest but perhaps something more open ended like a particular time period or instrumental entries etc.

Funnily enough I had planned on posting the runs myself inspired by Bré doing so in PFSC so thanks for doing the work instead :P

 

I had noted that BridgeCow was the only participant with a 100% top 10 record (and having took part in all contests so far) but that sadly has come to end by a very narrow margin!

What I don't want is 4 trap songs and 17 dubstep ones as really then the vs concept doesn't work.

 

Or we could what was done with the 90s vs 00s in the spinoff and you enter both but only one gets chosen at random

I did think that a general open 'dance' theme might work at some point? Like literally any genre that fits under dance and see what comes up on top!

I should add that it's points based on positions not on songs entered, although I'm sure that's pretty obvious to gauge :

 

So 20 for 1st (except vol. 3 where 21 was given) then all the way down to 1 for 20th (or 21st)

I also noticed that me and you Dobbo are the only to have finished top five three times, and though you have the better chart run I'm on my way to claiming all five positions of the top five first; just need 1 and 4 now. I'd expect based on actual points scored I'd be in second now behind you too.
