"A Day In Your Life" should have been the 1999 Christmas song from their lost album: third time around
Too Much is also one of least liked by them overall.

No it’s melanie and Victoria’s favourite , they say so on spiceworld tour. And on ROTSG press conference

YOU ARE JOKING, YES?? Or do you actually like this lifeless DIRE dirge??

Absolute TRASH

You gotta daance like noeberrdy is watching YoUOuuou. Awful lyrics, music, vocals production. Just trash.

I think trash is harsh (that's more Voodoo)... It's not #1 (especially not Xmas #1) worthy but it's a cute enough album track or B-side

Voodoo isn't trash either it's a fun little album filler that for some reason is seen by many as the worst song ever. It's not.

I agree. 'Voodoo' gets me dancing.

Although I wish they'd given half a second to rethink to the lyric "party la".

Party La could have so easily been 'Party hard' would have made total sense with the rest of the lyrics then.

Voodoo is terrrrrible!

And to think that was what they had lined up for a 3rd pop album, along with other musical abominations!!
^ Voodoo was written, produced and recorded in 2007 specifically for the Greatest Hits album. Same with Headlines. There's some unreleased songs from those sessions too: Angels and Spice Is Back.

Yeah and Spice Is Back sounds fun!

Anyway... TOO MUCH needs more appreciation

I wonder how bad Angels and Spice is back must sound if they chose to go with Voodoo over them...

Spice is back sounds like the ideal comeback song, sounds upbeat and 'Spice' infused... but I'm guessing it's terrible

ahah yeah they are both probably shite lol

There is also another track, I believe, that George Michael had written for them but they ended up not using it right? Was meant to be a Christmas song, I believe... Not sure they ever actually recorded it, but I remember reading about it..

Actually in a recent interview Mel C said Spice is back was the best song from the GH recordings and she wanted it released but majority ruled.

Wasn't it December song which he released a few years later himself? That was ok but not a patch on their previous Christmas singles.

I really like A day in your life, I get comes alive when sung live vibe. With everyone waving their arms and swaying and singing along to it.
