I think it’ll be the last series for a while.

 

I can’t see a show like this being scrapped for good, there’s just too much potential still. I doubt it’ll come back to Channel 5, but who knows?

Provisionally set for 14th September, 4 days after the end of CBB :D can't wait for this after promising changes to this current celeb series and the new team etc

C4 did the same thing with BB11 from what I can remember as their last series - they did a full live feed on the website.

Big Brother will NOT air on Saturdays. Instead, a 90 minute show will air on Sundays.

What is taking its place on Saturday night then? Any particular reason why?

Because no one watches it on a Saturday, Love Island does the same! Smart move Tbh, although too little too late

Last series was my favourite C5 series ever! Just behind Gina's series - Chanelle is probably in my Top 5 housemates ever then housemates such as Isabelle, Deborah, Hannah, Raph were all so likeable and entertaining then we had so many good villains such as Lotan, Kayleigh and Rebecca.

 

I really hope they continue with the same level of quality housemates, I'm really hopeful.

I'm really really hopeful for this series, as said the last one actually got the casting down (even if we had a couple of Ex On The Beach and other reality show people) even if they weren't all super likeable, there was a balance of people to root for and people to hate and as fired up as we get about the latter we do need those! With a new team who from CBB seem to really value what made the old series so good, I'm hopeful this could be the best series in YEARS. Little things like the shopping tasks and evictions feeling like an event again have really made this CBB series great, we need some of that in the civilian one, so it feels like a social experiment again rather than a scripted reality mess. If this is going to be the last series, or last one for a while, let's go out with a bang.

No Friday show either?? :/ That's ALWAYS been the big event, I get removing Saturday because that's the least watched but wtf...

Oh I saw Monday to Thursday on DS too but Twitter is all saying Mon-Fri, tbh I'm fine with not having Saturday but normally being 10pm isn't going to help ratings :/
