YAAASSSS!!! :cheer:

Peter Salmon, chief creative officer of Endemol Shine, to the Guardian regarding Big Brother's future in the UK: "I think it’s highly likely, from conversations we’re having, that it will continue here".

RATINGS: 700k

That’s 300k more than The Circle!!

Embarrassing for The Circle with all that coverage and promo to be beaten by the apparently dead BB

So glad I've gotten into this series, brilliant so far  It's reminding me of why I loved the show in the first place.

Really hoping it can return :( It's a shame the civilian Channel 5 series were never really successful, a part of me thinks that having so many celebrity series, and going right back opening the Channel 5 series with a celebrity version is the reason for that as it killed all hype for them. It says something that probably the most famous civilian Channel 5 housemate is Helen Wood :')

Only catching up with last night's episode but I don't know how to feel about Anamelia? Like she's annoying as f*** but I kind of feel bad for her?

Lewis G is HORRENDOUS. He needs to go. He's just gross.

I thought Anamelia was having a brilliant episode yesterday, being calmer, nicer, garnering sympathy and then the last segment came out of nowhere!!!

I kinda agreed with her too, she seemed to for the most part wait and listen, which she doesn't always do, and then stuck up for herself a bit. I didn't really think she was in the wrong so I hope she has gained some support from this. She shouldn't go,

Tomasz is everything.

Vote to evict so Ana doesn't stand a chance in hell. Sigh.

Isaac really is revolting isn't he?

Lewis F is my HERO.

Reading this = highlight of my day

Isaac HAS to be one of the worst housemates in a long time. I mean Lewis G is an absolute idiot and very immature but I don't think he's a nasty person, just a huge attention seeker who is really trying to fit in and be a certain person, like a secondary school child who isn't popular and . Isaac is a vile person, very aggressive and standoffish over absolutely nothing, I just don't see a single even remotely redeeming feature. Lewis F is going back up in my estimations after that, someone needs to cut Isaac down to size - I really don't know who on earth he thinks he is :/

I'd have Kay to go out of those 3, still can't really take to her but I think all of her, Anamelia and Sian have more layers to peel back and more to give over some of the ones who aren't up (ie Lewis G, Isaac and Akeem, who is nice but boring). Like I said I totally get that Anamelia is annoying to live with but they went so OTT on her, also for such a unique twist in the game it's a waste that the one who would have got like everyone's nominations anyway is being evicted, especially when she's one who is giving a lot to the show.

Isaac coming across horrendously. Really bullying behaviour there - she didn't do anything wrong.

Issac is like a male Pauline  (from what I remember of that series as that's when I switched off) I thought he was just a basic fit guy until tonight but those meltdowns at Lewis and especially Ana was horrendous. Lewis G is a c*** as well

Lewis F was spot on tonight. Why do I have a feeling he'll be the next to go though :/

Anamelia tomorrow then :( I'm voting for Kay, I like her but Sian has more to offer for me and Anamelia is more entertaining obvs.

Edited by Andrew.

Anamelia is one of the worst first evictee's since Rachael on C4, maybe before that, Shabnam :(.

Such a shame and I don't understand people really passionately hating on her, like Liam, I get she's annoying but there's such worse character in the form of Lewis G and Isaac.

It's a shame she hasn't ever really stood a chance with Lewis G being against her, not being picked for tasks, her partner not being competitive and then tonight as well. I really like Kay but I would also want her gone - I don't see it unfortunately.

I'm really disappointed in Sian, Zoe & Brooke too - what flimsy boring gameplay, you're there to win!! The only ones I really feel are competitive are Tomasz, Cameron and Anamelia - everyone else seems happy to go with the flow. I hope this series doesn't take a direction in that people just go along to what Lewis G says and does but I have a feeling that it might do.

The annoying thing is in this country it's seen as somehow wrong to play the game at all. It's been that way since the start of Big Brother and I'm probably overanyalsying this too much lmao but I think a lot of it is to do with everyone in this country having to be so modest all the time. It's seen as arrogant to want to win.

Imo, as soon as Lewis G is nominated he's gone. So hopefully at least a few people dislike him as much as all of us here do ;o

Definitely, the one who is "playing the game" is a bit of an stereotyped character here (it was banded about as such a negative thing with Dexter for example and to an extent Raph at the start, as well as Victor and Science as older examples) even if they aren't actually doing much and aren't really playing a game, it just seems to be a certain type of person who gets that slapped on them. When really, it IS a game, you're on TV to potentially win £100,000, go for it. Who cares if some immature idiot gets annoyed at you, you could in a few weeks time have £100,000 and who cares then?

It's why as much as I would love the US format for even just a spin-off (like when they did Celebrity Hijack or that random Teen one), it just wouldn't work. I understand the formats have developed differently, but I hate that "playing the game" is such a negative thing not just on BB but on reality TV in general in the UK (it's even being banded around on The Circle already and Love Island got it).

I don't like Isaac at all and I know anamelia can be annoying etc but I felt sorry for her tonight and I hope she stays tomorrow night with the crowd shouting get Isaac out!
Anamelia is one of the worst first evictee's since Rachael on C4, maybe before that, Shabnam :(.

This inspired me to do an impromptu ranking of the first evictees of civ BB past:

18. Marco (BBUK 2016) - vile, annoying, would have been even more insufferable if he had stayed any longer. The less that is said about THAT Bieber cover. The better.

17. Sallie (BBUK 2013) - started out good but as i recall she became a twat quickly

16. Sunita (BBUK 2002) - never seen this season and she looks super uninteresting

15. Beinazir (BBUK 2009) - boring, i don't remember a single thing she did lol

14. Tashie (BBUK 2011) - soooo boring on a super boring season

13. Penny (BBUK 2001) - haven't seen this season and she looks ok but apparently she became hated in the nation for some reason? idk.

12. Victoria (BBUK 2012) - i don't really remember her all that well but she was some what of a strange creature IIRC? might belong in any of the spot from 11 to 16 really but i can't remember how i felt abt her lol.

11. Vanessa (BBUK 2004) - i liked her but ultimately very boring in such an explosive seaosn

10. Sada (BBUK 2000) - first boot ever so iconic for that reason only lol. i liked her.

9. Tamara (BBUK 2014) - was nice and i liked her but dangerously close to a boring showmance IIRC. had potential i felt and was up against the INSUFFERABLE danielle who should have gone instead but it is what it is.

8. Mandy (BBUK 2017) - had potential and was very likeable during her time in the house. tom def should have booted imran instead. didn't like her when she came back for a bit and talked shit about chanelle.

7. Mary (BBUK 2005) - a while since i watched this but iirc she was delightfully weird and crazy. made sense as a first boot though as she would have grown old quick.

6. Bonnie (BBUK 2006) - BONNEH! iconic and so funneh. she does everyfin and everyfin. great first boot but her story was kind of over when she left anyway so i wasn't sad that she went out.

5. Anouska (BBUK 2003) - widely known as the boot that ruined the whole season. pretty much the only person with a personality on the most boring season of BB ever. (yes '11 included)

4. Adjoa (BBUK 2015) - Timebomb really f**ked up with it's 4-way eviction but even moreso with THIS: the worst eviction of that series. Adjoa was the most interesting character on BB16 and should have gone a lot further than FIRST out ugh.

3. Rachael (BBUK 2010) - My Beyoncé lookalike suffered being bullied at the hands of doucheturd John James and worst runner-up ever Dave and was eliminated first in such a devestating eviction that showed that even in 2010 the UK public were sexist idiots who hated a sweet beautiful girl only because the hot guy had a thing for belittling girls who had crushes on him.

2. Shabnam (BBUK 2007) - in a good series we had an iconic first boot that thankfully didn't leave til day 18 or so but should have made it all the way to the end. iconic and definitely unique Shabnam brought this intense but likeable energy to the house that has never been seen since. I was devistated when she was evicted.

1. Stephanie (BBUK 2008) - my all-time fav first boot and one of my top 10 BBUK contestants ever is the FOREVER robbed Stephanie who was only voted out because the UK Public couldn't stand a young girl who stood up for herself against the disgusting Mario. He painted her as an ungrateful brat and the public ate it up but later it was just clear that he was intolerable and disgusting and the public made a HUGE mistake. I still remember watching that eviction and the sinking feeling when her name was called out after THAT stupid twist. Girls Aloud are still losing sleep over not getting 13-year-old Steph onboard back in 2003. Shame.

Will be interesting to see who goes tomorrow as they will probably all be in the 6-10 region for me as I haven't gotten to know Kay and Sian enough to feel terrible if they leave and Anamelia is already iconic in an annoying way so I appreciate her for that but I feel like we've seen most of what we can see from her already so I hope it's her.

Sunita wasn't first she walked, first boot was Lynne (and would've been Jade had they done the twist tbh, imagine!!!).
Ah ok I’ll swap Sunita for Lynne in the morning then. Placement stays the same lol, i dont find Lynne to be any more interesting haha and she was a necessary loss to get Jade so.
Victoria was the one that Deana said had “evil eyes” She then preceded to have about 10 meltdowns over everything from being nominated, food, and booze. Conor should have definitely been the first out there. What a vile human. I also didn’t like Lydia either though.
Ah Shabnam - the first HM to openly talk about 'deals' and wanting to leave early as she was so hungry for the lime light/ a week with Dermot/ getting in the magazines
