Actually kind of hoping Shotgun gets put on 59p every third week just to show the OCC how inconsistent the ACR rules are :lol:

There will come a time where the 59p tactic won't be able to combat the downfall in streams - Rita Ora's team employed the same strategy for Your Song and sure, the price reduction worked for a couple of times but eventually it didn't because 1) people had already taken advantage of the reduction and 2) the streams were declining anyway and it wasn't a big enough boost in the end. I remember Drake's team tried it with God's Plan and it still failed! So Shotgun won't avoid it forever, I suppose time will tell if it actually does this week or not but it's declining on Spotify too now.
