Wow, thought Dreamer would have been a lot higher up the Year End chart than that!

Only spent a modest 7 weeks on the top 40 in '95

I'm loving livin' joy climbing up, also it's 15 years today 1st Sep 2003 Black eyed Peas released where is the love?

Who could have predicted it would do THAT well! And Dido returned that week as well.

Oh Where Is The Love was an obvious smash from the first listen!

Wow! ‘Don’t Stop Moving’ had a great Top 10 run for its time. Has anyone got any sales info for them? Thanks for posting Steve :)

Dreamer - 63,000 (1994) + 303,000 (1995)

Don't Stop Movin' - 350,000

The sales that were reported at the time. Dunno about downloads & streams but I suppose Dreamer has extended its lead.

Dreamer has 11m Spotify streams. Don't Stop Movin' has 4m.

Worldwide figures of course but the majority will be coming from the UK.

Thanks for these. Interesting to see combined ‘Dreamer’ only sold 15k more than DSM at the time. Great sales for both! It’s a shame it all went down hill for them with the p*** poor ‘Follow The Rules’

Great to see them branch out. I didn’t watch it but was expecting stuff like ‘Rise Up’ and ‘Say Something’ back in the chart

Reckon This is Me will replace Say Something this year

22. 1 Hour Band - You Want My Sister

Where has this come from?

It's Joe Sugg.

22. 1 Hour Band - You Want My Sister

Where has this come from?

It's YouTuber Joe Sugg, YouTuber and actor Byron Langley, and Conor Maynard apparently.

The name '1 Hour Band' comes from them writing the song in 1 hour.
I totally never knew that 'Dreamer' and 'Don't Stop Movin' had a different vocalist until I just looked it up. :o

Mind = blown

Never knew that either.

Yep Janice only recorded Dreamer with them before leaving because they couldn't secure the right contract for her. Everything else released, including the album version of Dreamer, featured Tameka Starr.

Re: 'Dreamer', it was certified Gold for sales of 400k last December. 'Don't Stop Moving' has yet to reach Gold.
“Real Love” and “Take Me Home” say hi

Meh real love is probably one of my least favourite songs CB have done and take me home was dire no offence

 30. Kate Bush - This Woman's Work

Kind of odd the Kate Bush version is charting when the guy pretty much sang the Maxwell version.

^it's always like that, happens every time

but it's a great track, hope it keeps climbing although the xf effect barely lasts 24 hrs

At least this time he didn't cite Maxwell. There was that one time when someone sang ""This Woman's Work by Maxwell"" and the Maxwell version ended up charting at #41 officially that week with the Kate Bush original/better version charting at #63.
