Is the Catherine Tate show actually a sitcom? Isn't it a sketch show

I didn't vote for Little Britain as its a sketch show,not a sitcom. I assumed those were excluded.

I know it’s a controversial part but my intention was more for scripted comedy, just sitcom is more snappy!! There’s only a couple of sketch shows made it through so it’s up to people whether they choose to vote for them or not!
