I really hope XF gets Spice Girls on the finale, it'd be amazing to see them perform on TV for the first time since the Olympics.

 

I, however, don't think just because they're both girl groups they should perform together (not that it's true anyway). Spice Girls are too iconic for their first performance in forever to be with another, less legendary (no shade to Little Mix, Spice Girls are just the girl group of all time.) group, they should be able to have this moment fully in the spotlight.

 

It's like, Little Mix and Spice Girls' strengths are totally different and I don't see it working with all 8 of them on stage. Spice Girls are more carefree, full of unbeatable charisma performances - a bit more freestyled, whereas Little Mix's are more concentrated and slick performers. Girls Aloud are my fav girl group ever and I wouldn't want them to perform with Little Mix either (despite being quite polished performers themsleves). I just personally see Little Mix as some of the best performers of our time. It's the same with how I think Rita has a fantastic stage presence, but I would not want to see her performing with Beyonce just because they are both female solo stars, it just would not work.

 

So yeah, get them both on finals, but give them separate performances to slay in their own ways.

Joe made sense, but I wanted a joint one just for the sake of how much global attention it would bring to Little Mix and it would feel very sweet of the Spice to kinda... "pass the legacy" of UK huge girl groups.

The episode description for when Little Mix perform on Strictly has updated and confirmed they're singing 'Woman Like Me'.

 

The show opens with a dramatic group routine with our professional dancers, plus Little Mix perform Woman Like Me.

I guess it's one last push of the song before they move on to 'Think About Us' when they perform on Graham Norton the following weekend.

Urgh, that's a shame. I feel like Woman Like Me isn't the best choice of album seller or song for the Strictly audience. It'll be on ACR by then won't it?

Don't think it will be on ACR, it's still within its 6 weeks of charting so would need 3 weeks of declining after this week.

 

I didn't expect them to go with 'Woman Like Me' but I don't think it's too much of an out there choice for the Strictly audience. I imagine they'll cut the Nicki rap completely.

It'll be week 9 so it won't be on ACR, and might actually stop them from falling onto ACR on week 10 and give them an extra 3 weeks on SCR. I imagine they'll 59p it again soon, too.

They really need to cut Nicki’s part when they perform this or get some sort of video screen. The Michael McIntyre performance was good when they were doing something but with Nicki’s bit being so long and the fact they don’t sing the chorus they are just hopping for most of the song!

Doesn’t surprise me. The Sats on their Strictly slot did What About Us despite it being released two singles ago. Strictly doesn’t feel like the right audience to launch a new single either whereas X Factor does becsuse they’ve done it before, if that makes sense?

I have a feeling due to Jade having family issues they may not have had time to rehearse something new. I hope she's okay, it seems she's had a family bereavement, poor Jade. Hopefully she's okay to do Graham in a couple of weeks.

Gold this week in Australia. If we ignore the RL remix, their 1st certification in Australia since Touch. They certainly faded a bit down under.

Still can’t get over them taking it off hot hits Aus and replaced by Joan of arc the week it went top 10 on Spotify there!

Confirmed to be performing a Strictly "first ever".

I really hope this is discounted tomorrow so that it can get a little climb in the chart with their Strictly performance too. It’ll also help them avoid ACR for another 3 weeks.
