I’m waiting to see if they keep climbing on Spotify/Apple Music cause if they can pass Promises by Monday I’d say they’re still in the race. Either way a top 5 debut is still great and an X Factor performance could definitely boost them to #1

It looks like they’re gonna fall from #1 on iTunes very soon. Bloody Sam Smith.

If they perform on first XF lives next week, they could climb to #1 in second week I reckon.

It’s probably 2/3/4 this week for them but I’m super proud of them either way!

Possibly if they get Nicki Minaj on the show too but the X factor shows really haven’t had much of an impact this year even when contestants are performing them! Remember the days we used to get excited about the iTunes boost our fav songs would get when being performed!

X Factor still had notable boosts last year for the guest performers, I don't think there's any reason to assume it won't be the same this year. Look at Stormzy's Blinded By Your Grace for example, X Factor really helped that become a smash!

Also Rak Su sold loads on ITunes every week last year from their performances and were always #1 on iTunes. It’s more the kinds of acts they get on there.
So next week will be Promises 10th week on the chart. Will it hit ACR? If so I’d think that really increased LM’s odds at #1

They put it as 59p so it doesn’t hit ACR.

I thought it went by decrease in total sales. And since they’ve been slipping on streaming I thought maybe the iTunes discount might not be enough to save them but oh well. I still think the girls can rise, especially if they perform on the X Factor.

I prefer Only You to this.

Banned

It's had no push, no promo, no interviews, no video etc

of course it's going to fall a little

I did expect the fact it’s being spammed on Radio would have kept it a bit more buoyant on iTunes, admittedly. But of course they probably need some performances.

(Down to 11 on Spotify)

Only You >>>>

In all honesty, I'm not sure what to expect with the overall performance, it could go either way but it all depends on when they drop the video / perform on the X Factor, I originally thought it would debut in the top three this week but I'm expecting a debut of around #5-8 now which is still a decent debut but it's a bit disappointing considering their huge lead on iTunes on Friday, of course though they could still come top five and we will have a better idea once the midweeks drop.

I prefer Only You aswell.

Looks like they will have to settle with #6 - #10 first week, even tho they'll be high in these first midweek charts.

'Only You' is a cute bop, but these opinions are beyond trash.

Shame about the Spotify drop, but to be expected now that the initial hype has worn off. I hope it recovers soon, because you just know the premature 'flop' comments are bound to flood in otherwise. They've already started over in the chart forum.
