YOU JUST KNOW IT'S WRITTEN BY JESS GLYNNE.

Nicki is legit the best part by a MILE.

Pre chorus is much better than the actual chorus.

On first listen I was underwhelmed but I think I had just listened to the demo too many times so it threw me off. Its definitely different than their other leads (not as in your face, anthemic, etc) but I love it. The Nicki feature was unnecessary but I bop regardless.

Also, they're on the top of several New Music Friday playlists and they've got a vertical video coming tomorrow on Spotify so hopefully they'll get that immediate Hot Hits add as well. I really want all the cards to come together to give them the best chance at #1 as possible, and Spotify is crucial (especially since they haven't booked any first week performances)

Just an fyi, we'll be keeping a close eye on this thread and will be deleting posts that are just posts for the sake of posting/any "opinions" which have no substance (we've removed one today already) so please be warned.

We really don't mind if you love it or hate it. Just post something of substance which helps us understand why you may feel like that.

Simply saying something like "awful" and then admitting you've not even heard it just to rile up members/be controversial/attention seeking or whatever your prerogative is, will not be tolerated.

Thanks.

This is a checklist I made earlier in the week of things they need for any hope of going to to #1

- [ ] Insta Radio 1 B list

- [ ] Insta Radio 2 A list (check off both if A)

- [x] Straight to H/S on Capital (confirmed S!)

- [ ] New music Friday top 3 on Spotify and cover

- [ ] Heart playlist

- [x] Radio 2 playlist first week

- [ ] Hot Hits UK by end of Friday

- [x] Spotify Hot Hits UK vertical video (they’ve said this is for This is Little Mix but I assume it’ll go on HHUK too)

- [ ] iTunes banner

- [x] Some kind of promo first week (Good morning Britain and radio tour)

I actually really like the song, and it’s one of those that has already grown on me after a few listens. It is definitely a more mature side to the girls that we’ve been pining for for a while now. So hopefully it could generate even more interest in them as a group. I don’t want to be too presumptious, but I think this could be No.1 #5

B O P

It is very Side To Side but it's a great lead, it's a bit more grown up but it's not forcing it.

I really like it! I'd say it's probably less instant than SOTME, but it definitely seems like it'll be a grower (I love SOTME, but it became a little grating when it was everywhere).

Nicki's rap is lowkey kind of dreadful though. Ending her verse with the curry line was a choice.

I am very underwhelmed with this. It is a carbon copy of the Jess Glynn version. I was expecting better.
The prechorus to this is ludicrously catchy. It's been stuck in my head ever since that snippet they posted.
For some reason I was expecting to be disappointed, but I'm really digging it :music:

This is good but a little... predictable. I could tell it was a Steve Mac track without even checking the credits

Probably a 7/10 for me. Side To Side 2.0 indeed, it doesn’t even feel as if its tried to separate itself from it! But Side To Side is a bop so its fine.

2nd on NMF, bloody Jess Glynne first  They have the cover though!

I LOVE it. Unsurprisingly.

Much more mature and feels like actual growth as artists. It's so Spotify ready, isn't it? I smell a huge hit!
