Would Aphrodite have worked as single do you think?

^^ I know a lot of people really like the song but I don’t think it would have made a particularly successful single, it’s good but doesn’t scream smash hit to me personally.

It wasn't one I'd have picked either but I remember here on the forum at the time a good few people wanted it as a sine but I always wanted better than today.

I was listening to the album last night - they really did pick the best songs as singles even though I’m not a fan of BTT, there are no ‘OMg why didn’t they release that as a single’ songs on the album for me, it’s a solid album but not one that’s crammed with potential smashes.

I do honestly believe the only purpose that 3rd single campaign served was to solely focus on its X-Factor performance, and that 'Aphrodite' would have made for a more extravagant, vivacious and eventful performance.
