"Shallow" is the 104th most-streamed song of all time on Apple Music.

Overtook a bunch of Post Malone tracks and #52 again on Spotify daily chart globally. This will NEVER fade! Next song to be overtaken is Ariana's super hit 7 Rings!

Still top 75, at #69. Next week will be its 52th ( :o ) week on singles chart and it has missed top 75 only for 1 week to date, #82 in July. It will most likely stay top 100 until Xmas rush kicks in when half of the chart will be cleared anyway.

In top 75, only Shotgun has had a longer run. What a super smash!

Which Elton John do you think about? I think his signature hits are all from the 70s, with exception of Sacrifice. Candle in the Wind is tricky because it was a new version of an old song and was re-popularized under exceptional circumstances.

Edit: CYFTLT fits the signature category though I think.

He's a pop legend for sure and has a career that 99,99999% of artists can only dream of.

I was think of remake of CITW to be fair as it wasn’t a big hit until then. But also I’m still standing, I guess that’s why call it the blues, Nikita, The lion king soundtrack all classic Elton in 80’s and90’s

One year ago today, Gaga and Bradley Cooper released “Shallow” from A Star Is Born. The song has gone on to be one of the biggest of her career, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and Official UK Chart, it won two Grammys, an Oscar, and a BAFTA, among countless other awards and has become a staple of pop culture this past year.

What are your thoughts on the song, one year on?

Still love it. I have SO many memories attached to it; it's been there when I've felt incredibly down but also when I've been on top of the world. It, along with the soundtrack as a whole, is a key ingredient to my relationship with my partner.

The success of this song is truly unprecedented and honestly unimaginable when I think back to this time last year. Who genuinely would've predicted its success before the film dropped!?
