I agree the over hyping did take some of the excitement away from the video but it will go on to remain as one of the best videos in pop IMO. The song however has finally hit me and is so infectious!!! :wub: I love the intro and the catchiness to the basic “thank u next” :wub:

I think it's probably the best music video I've seen all year, she really is the master of the music video right now.

Yes! I quite like the Carpools but more because of the concept and because of the guests. I hate when he sings over them and everyone's like "omg who knew James Cordon could sing?!?!" when in fact he can only just hold a tune.

Really hope this gets Xmas #1.

All of Ariana's output has been released this decade so a lot of songs would be higher than 'thank u, next' for me. But I can't deny the impact it had!

It’s definitely grown in my affections.

 

I was underwhelmed at this at first and I couldn’t see how this was her long awaited first #1 in like 4 years and her first #1 in the states.

 

I love it now but it’s not the best thing she’s put out no way.
