October 5, 20187 yr Without ACR In My Feelings would still be top 20 so it's not like it's lost that much popularity anyway. But comparing to Shotgun which was a hit at the same time, it's in steep decline.
October 5, 20187 yr I thought Scott announced Taki Taki as #31. Glad that’s top 30 and that “079Me” is still in the top 40 after all Edited October 5, 20187 yr by Hadji

It currently consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist and rhythm guitarist Jesse Carmichael, bassist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine, drummer Matt Flynn, keyboardist PJ Morton and multi-instrumentalist Sam Farrar. Original members Levine, Carmichael, Madden and drummer Ryan Dusick first came together as Kara's Flowers in 1994, while they were still in high school. After self-releasing their debut album We Like Digging?, the band signed to Reprise Records and released the album The Fourth World in 1997. The album garnered a tepid response, after which the record label dropped the band and the members focused on college. In 2001, the band remerged as Maroon 5, pursuing a different direction and adding guitarist Valentine. The band signed with a subsidiary of J Records, Octone Records, and released their debut album Songs About Jane in June 2002. Aided by its lead single "Harder to Breathe", which received heavy airplay, the album debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart, and went platinum in 2004. The band won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2005. Maroon 5's second album, It Won't Be Soon Before Long was released in 2007. It reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and the lead single, "Makes Me Wonder", became the band's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2010, the band released their third studio album Hands All Over, to mixed reviews, re-releasing it in 2011 to include the single "Moves like Jagger", which topped the Billboard Hot 100. In 2012, the band released their fourth album, Overexposed, which spawned four successful singles, with the second single, "One More Night", topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine consecutive weeks. In 2014, the band signed with Interscope Records and released their fifth studio album, V, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as the sixth studio album Red Pill Blues in 2017. With the addition in the band's line-up which includes PJ Mortion on keyboardist and Sam Farrar on multiple instruments in 2012 and 2016, making the band as seven official members. Maroon 5 has sold more than 75 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Maroon 5 2004 13 Harder To Breathe -1- 2004 03 This Love -2- 2004 04 She Will Be Loved -3- 2004 27 Sunday Morning -4- 2005 39 Must Get Out -5- 2007 02 Makes Me Wonder -1- 2007 33 Wake Up Call -2- 2007 44 Won't Go Home Without You -3- 2008 28 If I Never See Your Face Again (Maroon 5 feat. Lil Wayne's career began in 1991 at the age of nine, when he was discovered by Bryan "Baby" Williams and joined Cash Money Records as the youngest member of the label, and half of the duo The B.G.'z, alongside fellow New Orleans-based rapper B.G., then known as Lil' Doogie. In 1996, Lil Wayne and B.G. joined the southern hip hop group Hot Boys, with Cash Money label-mates Juvenile and Turk. Hot Boys debuted with Get It How U Live!, that same year. Most of the group's success came with their platinum-selling album Guerrilla Warfare (1999) and the 1999 single "Bling Bling". For many years, he was the flagship artist of Cash Money Records, before ending his long-tenured deal with the company in June 2018. Lil Wayne's solo debut album Tha Block Is Hot (1999) was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His subsequent albums, Lights Out (2000) and 500 Degreez (2002), went on to be certified gold. Wayne reached higher popularity with his fourth album Tha Carter (2004), which was led by the single "Go D.J." and his appearance on Destiny's Child's Top 10 single "Soldier", that same year. The album was followed by Tha Carter II (2005), as well as several mixtapes and collaborations throughout 2006 and 2007. Wayne gained more prominence with his sixth album Tha Carter III (2008), which became his most successful album to date, with first-week sales of over one million copies in the United States. The album won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and includes the hit singles "Lollipop", "A Milli" and "Got Money". Following the success of Tha Carter III, Wayne decided to record a rock-esque album titled Rebirth. The album, released in 2010, was certified gold by the RIAA, despite a generally negative critical response. In March 2010, Lil Wayne began serving an 8-month jail sentence in New York after being convicted of criminal possession of a weapon stemming from an incident in July 2007. Wayne's eighth album I Am Not a Human Being (2010), was released during his incarceration. His 2011 album and first following his release, Tha Carter IV, sold 964,000 copies in its first week of availability in the United States. It includes the singles "6 Foot 7 Foot", "How to Love" and "She Will". On September 27, 2012, Lil Wayne passed Elvis Presley as the male with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with 109 songs. The record has since been passed by other artists. Lil Wayne's twelfth studio album, Tha Carter V, had been delayed multiple times and was finally released on September 27, 2018. Lil Wayne has sold over 100 million records worldwide, including more than 15 million albums and 37 million digital tracks in the United States, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time. Lil Wayne also currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of his own label imprint, Young Money Entertainment. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Lil Wayne 2005 04 Soldier (Destiny's Child feat. October 5, 20187 yr Lord. This is the first time I've been able to listen to the top 40 in a while in full, I usually leave for work about 4:30, and as much as I have a somewhat varied taste, the constant drone of these hip hop songs is SO DULL. This whining Lil Wayne thing on now might be the worst thing I've heard all year, what a horrible chorus.
October 5, 20187 yr I guess Let It Fly missed out on Top 40 then? Shame really as it was one of the better songs on the album (although the Kendrick feature is by far the best thing there). Mind you Anderson Paak’s single with Kendrick this week is way better still
October 5, 20187 yr Haven't listened to it yet but my only very moderately interesting fact is that this Lil Wayne song is the 2nd time he's made the top 40 featuring an artist that passed away earlier in the year.
