March 2, 20196 yr John Lundvik seems so obvious but I can't shake the feeling we're gonna get something random winning  I'd be ok with Too Late For Love, Lisa death slot again is a bloody joke
March 2, 20196 yr I could only see Hold You upsetting Too Late For Love potentially. I prefer the latter but the former went down an absolute storm in Malmo, the crowd really loved it. I hope Victorious can avoid last, I'm so obsessed with it. But it does feel like a random song to have gone DTF in 2019.
March 2, 20196 yr Author It may just be me being over dramatic because of their televote last year, but I feel like Sweden is heading for a big flop this year? I can't see any of the favourites finishing top 10 at Eurovision.

Too Late For Love probably could if the quality keeps up as it is, but Hold You screams low top 20.
March 2, 20196 yr If anything I can see "Too Late For Love" being a "winner by default" in one alternate universe if there's no other obvious big vote magnet pop song in the final 41.
March 3, 20196 yr I really disagree. I think “Too Late For Love” could do well with the Eurovision juries, sure, but my feeling was that the televote last year was the public fed up with Sweden repeating the same formula, and John Lundvik is part of that formula. Wiktoria is my easy first preference but I think either her or Hanna (and Liamoo :P) could potentially get people back on board.

I don’t believe casual viewers are thinking rationally enough to avoid Sweden for sending the same idea (are they even sending the same idea?). They will just vote for the song they like/connect to the most. Dance You Off tanked because there was no connection, it was too aloof and looked like a music promo. I can’t see Too Late For Love not walking this. Juries will eat this slick, gospel pop track. I’d even suggest this will win the jury vote in May, especially given 2019 is shaping up to be quite the shower of shite. Edited March 3, 20196 yr by ScottyEm

March 3, 20196 yr I would be here for the Kii of her winning Melfest and then crashing out in the Semi Final of Eurovision again.
March 3, 20196 yr Also the Mans/Dotter song is probably what they should have picked to send this year.

March 8, 20196 yr gosh I really do need to catch up on the Heats 2-4 songs don't I? the quality of that Heat 1 was so poor I just gave up after 10 whole years of religious watching! ugh
