Dammit if only Calvin was on ACR. Really hope 'Shallow' can still end up at #1 anyway. Nice climbs for the other ASIB songs as well!

I think Shallow will do it as Joey Lee Curtis mentioned on the previous page, it be nice for Lady Gaga to be back on top, let alone doing the double with the album. I didn't think she would get another #1 single to be honest, kudos to her.

surprised at Richard Ashcroft, theres not been much buzz but he must have a loyal fanbase

really think Shallow can do it, Shallow is only 25K behind on Spotify today, while selling almost double on iTunes and being slightly ahead on YT

He does, the Liam/Noel Gallagher lads love him.

was actually expecting TGS to be #1, didn't everybody go out to buy the karaoke edition?

Shallow might not hold so close to Promises on Spotify all week, people seeing the film at the weekend will have given it a good streaming boost that may subside slightly.

But yes I would really LOVE it to get to No.1, I have always believed Gaga had it in her to get another chart topper, she is too much of a star to just fade away. Also would be very impressive for Bradley Cooper of course, who is not a singer by trade, or prior to this film

I like Promises but I feel like everyone is talking about A Star Is Born right now, I don't really hear anyone talking about Promises anymore...

Lady Gaga i believe will take the album number 1 and i am fully behind her going to the top of the singles chart too.

A double for Lady Gaga this week would be wonderful.

My brother in law met Richard Ashcroft in his local bakery recently. Was a nice guy I'm told.

I think it's had lots of alternative radio support i.e Radio X and Absolute

It's literally a duet, why is Gaga getting all the credit on here and elsewhere. Frankly Cooper was also the driving force behind the movie, he was attached to the project far earlier than Gaga.
Are Little Mix number 6 or 10?

#6

It's because this forum has a large number of Gaga fans. A lot of the hype for the song + film on this site is generated through her. It's not that people aren't appreciating Bradley's impact, but it's natural for Gaga to be in the spotlight here. I don't know any Bradley Cooper stans! :P

I didn’t think that Lady Gaga would get another top 10 ever again, let alone #1!! :o

I was the FIRST to say she was over, after Venus and Applause, and here she is in a race to DO THE DOUBLE :o

It’s the new Robbie Williams & Nicole Kidman! :P

Because Bradley is hardly a hit maker as a recording artist.

Gaga is the only reason Shallow is charting this high tbh.

But he did amazing job with the film and as a singer. Lots of shirtless scenes too!

Gaga is also the first artist listed on the song/album. If it was credited to 'Bradley Cooper & Lady Gaga' there would probably be people referring to them as just 'Bradley'. (Although probably still more that just mention Gaga because this is BuzzJack)
