It wouldn't be a bad choice if a promotion slot came up and she performed a Christmas song. I am sure the plan behind the album was for it to pick up annual sales. A performance of any kind or interviews at this time of year can only benefit her and also inform people she is back with new music next year.

 

 

'Santa Baby' is appearing at #97 in today's midweek update. It's currently on ACR but will be reset to SCR the following week. Should be on for another re-peak this Christmas!

A re-peak would be wonderful, at this point i am happy to see go back into a top 75 position as it took so long to finally make it there and become a registered hit for Kylie.

 

Does anyone think the album has even a slight chance of making a return to the top 100 over the next 2-3 weeks?

I can see 'Santa Baby' maybe going top 40 this year.

Yeah I was thinking it could be in for a chance at reaching the Top 40 too actually. As for the album, I think it would only re-enter the Top 100 if it received a really good discount.

Santa Baby going Top 40 would be deserving. While not a Kylie song or Christmas song i would rank highly, it has nonetheless sold impressively and is among some of midtable best selling Kylie singles. Many of Kylie;s other hits have a higher peak position on much lower sales.

She's already at #61 on Spotify, so I imagine there's a good chance at her going top 40 this year. At least it'll re-peak.

Its therefore likely, Santa Baby will be making a reappearance on the official Top 100 this coming Friday.

Should be, as it wasn't Top 100 on the Monday update!

While I always like to see kylie back on the chart I wish it was with another song,ideally flower.

Yeah, ideally literally ANY other song. But in 2017 as a Kylie fan, I will take what I can get.

SANTA baby will hopefully have a big jump this coming week.

It should do. For reasons known only to the OCC, the Christmas songs all re-enter on Accelerated Chart Ratio before being reset to Standard Chart Ratio so that will help boost the song alongside the increase of streams it will naturally receive.

 

Would be wonderful if this could secure a Top 40 position this Christmas!
