I think the rule for combining editions is to include all songs from the standard edition in the new one. The track order shouldn't matter.

Inspired by NatIm's Come to Life clearly.

No, that was more R NAT desperately trying to find an alternate revenue stream.

The new cover is cheap and tacky looking - the original was far better and more mature looking for her age. I think the reissue will be lucky to go top20 again unless there is significant promotion. I suspect it will sell overall a fraction of what it did last year. Maybe 20-30k.

And another 20-30K is a bad thing? It's a much larger amount than it would have gotten without a re-release.

Also, in the original cover she's basically in a corset with added aheer material, she's actually wearing more in the new one. It's fun, bright and a bit tacky which is far

more Kylie than the other one.

I would be happy if it can go top 20 again this time around, its hard to call. The new cover is very tacky, i dont like it.

I'm sure it's not expected for the album to sell as well or better than last year (although it's not out of the question), but Kylie usually gets very good TV promo and I'd say that would be enough to return to the Top 20. As Regina said, the re-release will allow it to do much better than it would without - I can't think of any Christmas albums that got a second wave of success without one.

Yes, that makes a lot more sense!

Her promo will likely determine the success of the album, if she does a good bit of promo the album could do well. Also i hope the Christmas concert is televised again this year (ideally on a more mainstream channel as this would really boost sales.
I really can't see this doing much at all to be honest.

I think it will actually flop, scrap the Top 50 then fall off a cliff the following week.

Kylies version of Everybodys Free will be used in the Boots Xmas Campaign this year, so expect to hear it a lot!
The original album is in Supermarkets for £5. Get those add-on sales *.*
If the original is reduced and it is combined with the new version, i believe the album will make a comfortable top 40 return if she promotes.

Future Kween of Xmas *.*

I've seen the advert, as I unfortunately feared it seems to be a dreary piano ballad cover.

Did you listen to the whole ad? it picks up.

If John thought the the image used for the new cover was b-o-job-esque then I'd LOVE to know how he feels about this.
