I don’t see the problem with the dance moves! It’s basically applying the YMCA dance moves to XMAS, a very easy way to create some audience participation. I’m sure Kylie must want to do it and will have fun with it, and the choreo should in theory provide a joyful vibe to the performances. We’ll see!

    KYLIE FOR XMAS #1!!!!

Exactly. Dance moves are great for any coverage

She has done it with CGYOOMH, Spinning Around etc. People still do the moves to those, even people still bounce to Padam Padam.

there will probably be a TIk Tok Challenge too,

Iamgine the whole crowd at O2 doing it at JingleBall and it on TV

Oh I missed this but did we all know the HMV edition includes a ‘signed art card’.

It states it on the product image.

I thought it was just a ‘postcard edition’.

It can never do any harm and with padam padam i think it benefited from it.

Promo so far -

Pop Up Shop - 5-7th December

Jingle Bell Ball (Headline) - 7th December

Strictly Semi-Final Performance - 14th December

Looks like she’ll be here for a few weeks promoting - expecting The One Show, Capital, Magic etc., interviews to come too, I think we’ll get a drop of signed CDs too like with the Tension campaign.

Well that HMV exclusive CD better come with a signed art card!

Otherwise I’ll be stressing with you all release week waiting for announcements ha ha.

I think if she does signed HMV again like she done with Tension it’ll be a new batch/announcement rather than them being added to existing orders.

Think we have a high chance of signed items as she’ll be in the UK and they know how well it worked for Tension (plus she’s signing the test pressings of the album for the pop up store).

The HMV version has a sticker on the image stating it ALREADY comes with a signed art card.

Do we know when Jingle Bell ball will be on TV? Last year it was the 14th so potentially that is looking like a great TV promo day!

Edited by Mr. C. Joel

I think it is live on Youtube/Capital FM too on the 7th which is great for her. Capital FM worked wonders for PP and Tension

Does it air on one of the main channels?

Ah just seen - they’ve updated the picture, the sleeve is now pink and green and like you say states the print is signed 😍

I'm starting to feel close to 30k on opening week with all the different options available.

My prediction was 30k+

I just can’t see it doing anything less with 9 variants plus 2 more to come via the pop up shop, main stream TV promo, Amazon support etc

I think you have called it right.

I know a Christmas album is likely to pick up sales from an older audience so makes sense to promote on TV, but does make me laugh how we’ve been anticipating Strictly performances to promote her other albums but it’s now that we get the Strictly spot.
