He did a dress rehearsal for fans that finished a few hours ago (because of time difference).

 

It all seems to have gone brilliantly. Lots of positive reviews on the website. Very intimate theatre. Lots of covers. Only a few RW originals but I guess that's what he meant that he will see how it goes. No one's allowed to share teasers.

 

He's calling himself "Stoke's answer to Liberace". :rofl:

 

 

I hope he does not end up doing all covers Laura, it would be nice to see him getting his own material out there , his songs deserve to be heard ...

Couple of things I'm remembering.

 

He said 60% of ticket sales were from US buyers. (That seems pretty good to me).

 

They seem amazed that he has sold out the Residency. (Is that not normal? I've got no idea)

 

He said he would sing some of his songs and see how they are received. He would amend the set list according to that.

 

There are costume changes

 

His songs definitely deserve to be heard. I guess this is just dipping his big toe into the water and seeing what happens. :)
