Feels like things are in line to help this become a hit which is much better than how things were looking just a week ago. Don't want to get my hopes up too much just yet, not after the Christmas promo didn't seem to have the effect we anticipated.

So relieved we know it’s only 1 week until the video. It should be up to B list on Radio 1 by then too.

I can see this being quite big tbh, the second week will be bigger due to the mv tho... apparently its being sent to US radios next month too??

Ty's verse is probs my 2nd least fave out of the remixed features, but it's still not bad and doesn't really take away from the song imo. The production flourishes catch me off guard. Especially during the 2nd bridge! :lol:

Up to 9 on iTunes. I know it’ll fall but it’s a really strong start, shows there’s still interest.

 

It goes to show, despite how excessive they are, how the features really do help get the singles going. TAU had two big performances and only went to 60 on iTunes, new feature version and it’s up to 9!

I look forward to the “little mix and friends” greatest hits 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed with how it's performing so far. As much as I love the song in its own right, I'm mostly willing for it to become a hit to guarantee we get 'Wasabi' as a single at some point down the line. :lol:

Hmmm, I disagree. I don't mind the remixes but you can see their fans are growing increasingly frustrated with their features and rightfully so. It's not a standard procedure for pop acts to release 8/10 of their last singles with features with over half being remixed following the album release. It's a good marketing idea and I see why their label are doing it but when you look at acts like Dua Lipa, Anne Marie and even Jess Glynne, they appear on some collaborations but they can release music without having rent a rapper following the album release and I would put them in the same category as Little Mix, apart from I believe Little Mix was popular.

As Defaze said, we need to stop using the term Rent a Rapper
