Very disappointed by this video, find it rather bland and a bit dull and they look equally bored, you can tell they didn't want this song to be released and it clearly shows. Not loving this era so far, not keen on either of 'LM5's singles, hopefully 'Wasabi' will be the next single and hopefully turn things round.

It will be interesting to see if this video does anything for the song, I predict a low top 20 hit...if lucky.

Yeah. I agree with pretty much everything here. After the long wait I was kinda expecting more from it in terms of the video but this era just seems awful for them. I genuinely feel like they think it’s their best album as a whole but singles wise it’s obvious they’re not being listened to or for a legal reason they can’t release the songs they want. I think behind the scenes there’s still plenty going on what we as yet don’t know about.

 

I actually kinda hope they pull a Ariana and release album 6 ASAP and get a campaign they truly want because this album campaign is just going to further be a case of not getting what they want.

I don’t know why the wait made you expect more out of it. They weren’t reshooting and they’d already teased the concepts and setups and video itself before the delay. I get that maybe it wasn’t worth the wait, but the wait shouldn’t have made you expect MORE.

Definitely the worst for me. I hate the fact you can actually see the set, the lazy sexualised scenes are a snore fest and the girls seem so disinterested.

Secret Love Song is only disliked video because it’s not LGBT themed, it does its job and the girls look stunning. It fits the song well.

I think it’s got some great parts. It’s just a bit boring. Nowhere near their worst for me. Like, middle of the pack?

 

Also what a stupid time to release the video. A Friday evening? Goodbye video boost.

The song has Definately grown on me but yeh the video is not the greatest. I'm hoping that they move on to Album 5 this year, but only after releasing Wasabi. Even if it's complicated.

Yeah I’m a little disappointed by this. Echoing the others’ points on the lipsyncing being completely out, especially Jade and Perrie letting the side down there on that one. It just all feels a little disjointed.

With any luck. I can’t see this video having a huge effect and no Capital airplay is going to hurt. Speaking of, I was hoping they’d give it a few spins now that the video is out but nothing so far.

 

I think the comments calling for them to can the era entirely are a bit short-sighted. Granted, the whole TAU release has been a disaster, but at least give something like ‘Wasabi’ a shot. Me too! I'll be sad, mad and disappointed if they don't try with Wasabi and/or Monster In Me. I'm guessing a lot of this mess is that Strip was cancelled, which for sure would have performed better already.

I’m surprised they haven’t tried 59p on iTunes yet to get the song climbing again.
