The artwork is stunning:

Would be great if it was a new Coldplay track, I guess we'll hear in a couple of hours.

Is it out this evening then?

And it's just a Coldplay return? This is terrible for their chart history lol haveing two names!!

They have a net worth of over $500 million, I don't think they care about their chart history.

Bit of a pain for chart fans though!

"E-Lo" with Pharrell and Jozzy is out now! It's from the Global Citizen EP, which is released on Friday.

It's definitely Chris on vocals.

The EP features 4 tracks, with 3 from Los Unidades:

1. Stargate ft. Nelson Mandela - Rise Up

2. Los Unidades & Pharrell Williams ft. Jozzy - E-Lo

3. Cassper Nyovest & Los Unidades ft. Stormzy & Jess Kent - Timbuktu

4. Stargate & Los Unidades ft. Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Danny Ocean & David Guetta - Voodoo

A very eclectic mix of artists!

This is a great direction for them!

E-Lo will be performed by Chris Martin and Pharrell at the Global Citizen: Mandela 100 free concert on December 2 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Beyoncé, JAY Z, Ed Sheeran and Kacey Musgraves are also scheduled to perform.
So why can't Coldplay release under that name?

Based on the one song they've done under the new name, I think they're using the new name because the music is drastically different to their 'Coldplay' stuff.

That makes sense. I was getting the impression there was some sort of legal issues.

Come to think of it, I do remember it being said that A Head Full of Dreams would be the last Coldplay album but there was some ambiguity as to what that actually meant.

They’re not the first group to do this. Duran Duran released “Election Day” in 1985 under the pseudonym Arcadia and Fine Young Cannibals released “I’m Tired Of Getting Pushed Around” in 1988 under the pseudonym Two Men, A Drum Machine & A Trumpet

The second example was apparently just two of the three members from FYC though, anyway they were very quick to join the exciting new house trend in early 1988!
