We'll have to agree to disagree on that. Marina's solo stuff pre-Froot all made it onto the Radio 1 playlist, including total flops like Power and Control. I don't see why they'd have any agenda against her, especially as she guested on the chart show just a few weeks ago. I think the song is less instantly identifiable as a Clean Bandit track compared to the likes of Solo, which is probably why it took longer to make the playlist. But hopefully it all pays off in the end. I still feel it'll go Top 15 at the very least.

Interesting to see Nothing Breaks Like A Heart might outpeak Malibu, seems like ppl really missed her.

I don't think it helps that Baby is a very summer sounding song either, and in the only place it's being pushed it's currently winter so it's got that against it too. One Kiss took off in the way it did because summer was starting and everyone was blasting it out, not that I think Baby would be similar but the weather certainly has an impact on Spanish tinged songs like this. I think it's got a decent chance of number one but again it will all depend on the timing but I can only see this increasing.

Malibu might have peaked at 11 but didnt it spend a decent amount of time top 40 which to me is still a hit these days it’s even been certified platinum yes the album didnt sell fantastically
