December 21, 20187 yr This Elton song doing well this year feels so random, its not a classic at all imo! :lol: Step into Christmas peaked only top 30 in 1973(a busy year for Xmas songs it has to be said) and was apparently a relatively forgotten staple until the mid 80s when Now Christmas released for the first time in Dec 85 and Step into Christmas was added and it blew up from there. The 80s equilivant of being added high on a Spotify list :lol:
