The Middle   Underrated bop. Maren's vocals are incredible & I love the production. I'm so glad Maren got a UK hit and hopefully this leads on to a massive breakthrough 2019 for her

Biography

Jessica Hannah Glynne (born 20 October 1989) is an English singer and songwriter. After signing with Atlantic Records, she rose to prominence in 2014 as a featured artist on the singles "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit and "My Love" by Route 94, both of which reached number one in the UK.

Her debut studio album, I Cry When I Laugh (2015), debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and saw the international success of the singles "Hold My Hand" and "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself". Glynne's second studio album, Always In Between (2018), also debuted at number one in the UK and saw continued success with the singles "I'll Be There" and "All I Am"; the former made Glynne the first British female solo artist to have seven number one singles on the UK Singles Chart. - Wikipedia

yeah it just seems weird that Unforgettable is a bigger 2018 hit than In My Blood

It makes a bit more sense when you consider just how many streams it picks up while it's 'not relevant'. It spent a good chunk of the year around #101-#150 on Spotify and roughly 6-7 weeks around then is the equivalent to a week at #1. It's a big shift from how on iTunes it would take about 50 weeks at such a level to make 1 week at #1.

I think I like 'The Middle' a bit more than when it was out, but it still kind of embodies what's wrong with current music.

And what's that?

What's the lowest ranking no1 single so far?

Three Lions, Funky Friday & We Built This City all missed the top 100, of the ones that made the top 100 I think it's Shallow (tho IBT is the lowest of the ones that charted before October bar Three Lions)

I really REALLY don't understand how Jess Glynne is so successful in terms of #1 hits and everything. I mean she's ridiculously dull. Not even hatin' here, she's just THERE
What's the lowest ranking no1 single so far?

Three Lions, LadBaby and Dave aren't top 100, Shallow was the lowest in the actual countdown.

What's the lowest ranking no1 single so far?

Shallow (within the top 100)

Hi. Nobody answered my question. Does BJ have a list already anywhere, like Vidcapper's album one?

Biography

Describing their sound as "deep house with a shot of tequila," Los Angeles-based Canadian duo Loud Luxury make bright, ecstatic dance-pop with wistful lyrics, inspired by Disclosure, the Weeknd, and Calvin Harris. Andrew Fedyk and Joe Depace met as students in London, Ontario and began making music together in 2012. They began posting remixes and original tracks online, and within a few years they had gained support from tastemaking DJs such as Tiësto and Oliver Heldens. They moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and began touring more extensively, opening for artists like Arty and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. A collaboration with Borgeous titled "Going Under" was released in 2016, followed by "Fill Me In" and "Show Me," both issued by Tiësto's AFTR:HRS imprint. They also garnered attention with their remix of Martin Garrix's "Scared to Be Lonely," as well as their single "Body" (featuring brando), which was issued by Armada Music in 2017 and charted in both the United States and Canada. - iTunes

Biography

The Greatest Showman is a 2017 American musical film directed by Michael Gracey in his directorial debut, written by Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon and starring Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Michelle Williams, Rebecca Ferguson, and Zendaya. The film is inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum's creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and the lives of its star attractions.

Principal photography began in New York City in November 2016. The film premiered on December 8, 2017, aboard the RMS Queen Mary 2. It was released in the United States on December 20, 2017, by 20th Century Fox and grossed over $434 million worldwide, making it the fifth-highest grossing live-action musical of all time. The film was released seven months after Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus's dissolution.

The Greatest Showman received mixed reviews, with praise for the performances, music, and production values, but criticism for its artistic license, with some reviewers calling it "faux-inspiring and shallow". At the 75th Golden Globe Awards, the film received nominations for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Musical or Comedy for Jackman. For the song "This Is Me", the film won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song and was nominated for Best Original Song at the 90th Academy Awards and for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. - Wikipedia
