The second certification comes from the big July 2013 update when the BPI changed the rules to allow any song to have its certification updated as soon as it passed the threshold and I think they just overlooked the first certification due to the titles being different (one has 'The Vengabus' in brackets whilst the other doesn't). I am surprised that 'We Like to Party' hasn't been certified Platinum since, though. It sold 475k in the 90s whereas 'Up & Down' sold around 400k - 'We Like to Party' is surely the more popular song, no?

April 9, 20196 yr Insane that 'Intro' has passed Gold over all of their actual singles but its use on lots of TV shows/adverts/etc must have helped it gain popularity. It's their #1 most streamed on Spotify by some distance too. Great to see Avicii have another certified single although 'Collide' is one of my least faves of his hit singles (not to mention it was ripped off from another of his own singles). 'Panic Room' going Gold / 'Praise You' and 'In My Mind' going Platinum are pleasing also.
