Israel won the rights to host the annual competition in 2019 after Netta Barzilai was named the winner of last year’s event. According to the report, Madonna expressed her agreement to come to Israel, but negotiations remain ongoing over financial terms. Netta Barzilai was name winner of the 2018 Eurovision competition with her song “Toy”, long favored to win after its trills, chicken-like clucking sounds, and lyrics embraced by the #MeToo movement made it a viral hit. January 17, 20196 yr I didn't like Justin Timberlake as interval act at Eurovision and I won't like Madonna either. Big names appearing there should have a connection to Eurovision, so Abba or Celine Dion would be fine.

January 18, 20196 yr Author Eurovision isn't really for me but I can't deny this sounds like a big deal. It gets a massive audience and I could see Madonna putting on a great show. I do like how Madonna switches it up with the big promo pieces, even this far into her career where you'd have thought she'd done it all.

In all seriousness I wonder what she'll perform as the hit, she seems to be fond of Like a Prayer in recent performances but I think she would do something different for Eurovision. Hung Up seems like a good shout. Yeah I heard about that too. Quite exciting!

Sorry, I love the song, but I'm getting pretty fed up with it being chosen over and over again to be performed when there's so many other great songs that should get a look in. For Eurovision especially we should have got something like Hung Up, Vogue or Express Yourself. Hopefully the report turns out to be false.

Live Nation announced a surprise Quavo pop-up concert in Tel Aviv on May 16. According to the Jerusalem Post, Quavo will also take the stage with Madonna during the Eurovision final on May 18. The newspaper reports that Madonna is also planning to perform Like a Prayer and was in doubt if performing Future or Dark Ballet. I know we'll get confirmation soon enough but all the uncertainty is doing my head in! :lol:
May 7, 20196 yr Hung Up is her most Eurovision like song from what I’d say are her “big” hits. Like A Prayer is iconic but it’s not really Eurovision. Of the new hits its hard to say what’s suitable as we’ve only heard two tracks. I’d quite like a no guest set from her though so I’m hoping it’s two featureless tracks
