The video message just doesn't make sense to me or why Clean Bandit, Ellie Goulding or this song are related to Donald Trump? The only discernible message in my eyes is 'look after your children otherwise they'll turn out like Donald Trump' which isn't remotely pushing the boat out in terms of a statement and is very 'on trend' to have that opinion. Bit of a 'what were they thinking' moment.

Just when you think CB can't get any worse this era!

I don't often agree with Bjork, but in this instance I'd say the vitriol was well founded.

I have no idea who any of you are but Bjork's post was totally on the money (and far more interesting than a queue of "it's good, slay!" comments, even if you disagree with it). "Attacking" awful, uninspired pop music is one of the internet's few remaining pleasures.

It's toothless as satire and commits the fatal sin of not being funny either. Trump is such a f***ing absurd and grotesque figure that most attempts at mockery don't work, he himself is a walking parody. They could've at least got someone who looked like him!

Have to agree somewhat: the video doesn't make much of a statement (and has nothing to do with the theme of the song) and they're probably just looking for controversy to try and sell the song which is also one of the weakest singles they've released alongside Baby.

Clean Bandit used to be really good too, which makes it more disappointing.

Didn't it begin two years ago?

Longer than that!! 'Tears' was released 27 May 2016 and if you don't count that 'Rockabye' was released 21 October 2016.

Clean Bandit really should just let this sink under the radar and prepare a brand new single for later in the year anyway.

I don’t understand the video at all? What are they trying to do there?

This single will make Baby seem like a smash in comparison. Should’ve Known Better was the only single on the album left really if they had to release something.

I think they tried to mock Trump and ended up normalising him. A big swing and a miss. Next!

Finally enters at #98 this week. A+E got to #100 as their debut single so this is their worst performing single since then. Quite shocking that even Radio 1 has snubbed this.
Love the song, don't mind the vid. Shame their days as a chart force appear spent already.

I think there's every possibility they'll have big hits again as soon as they begin the next era, that seems a bit premature.

Solo went to #1 last year though? I Miss You also did very well.

Baby didn't do as well as it was a departure from their sound, and Marina & Luis aren't particularly big names.

This is also a single released after the album, which rarely do as well.

Wow, this is shockingly awful (both the song and the video). And I actually liked 'Baby'. What you doing Clean Bandit.
