I should be THRILLED but Victorious didn't wow me like I thought it would. It's no PARTY VOICE

Another very disappointing week where the best song came 5th, that's three weeks in a row now ffs. All the best entries in my eyes are failing to even get to Andra Chansen.

Is it just me or does Jon Henrik look like Bram from Love Simon :P

Some good songs made it through, even though Omar’s song was a little bit disappointing it deserved better than what it got, and the songs that were cast aside were much better than Martin Stenmarck :( I’m still kinda worried that Sweden is going to disappoint me this time because the last couple years had entries that were among the best in the entire cycle, so hopefully Heat 4 has some good ones.

Oh honey

What are you trying to say with that?

Yaaas for Lina but this is going to be the weakest final I've seen at this rate :( I probably prefer this Jon Henrik song to his others but I just don't get the mass fuss at all.

Usually the final is jam packed with utter bops but it is looking a bit lacklustre this year I must say, especially with only a week left.

Having said that, last night had a few moments, Lina was fab and I quite enjoyed Rebecka too. Dolly Style were ROBBED too </3

None of my faves have qualified so far with the exception of Malou Prytz :(

SF1: Zeana

SF2: Margaret

SF3: Lovers of Valdaro

Another week, another case of the hit Spotify songs being the tracks that missed out. Dolly Style are at #5 and Omar at #8, the first times that an MF song has hit top 10 there this year. Oscar stays sat at #11. Zeana is at #25 and Margaret at #31. No song that has made it to Andra Chansen is even inside the top 40.

I wonder if the way voting has changed this year to represent all demographics is having an effect, Martin Stenmarck is all the way down at #63 in comparison.

21 songs in and I’ve liked ONE song - Lovers Of Valdoro. Slovenia had two absolute gems fighting for the prize, by contrast. MelFest has Managed to be a shitload worse than last year. The songs sound like they’ve been cobbled together in minutes.
Yeah this is really not a vintage year, other than Not With Me my faves by FAR were I Love It and Tempo and both have crashed out :drama: Out of what's left, I do like Who We Are and Victorious plus I'm sure Hold You and I Do Me will grow on me, but meh. Next week on paper the only one I have any hope for is Lisa Ajax and I'm ready for her to come 5th.
Lisa Ajax can only be our lord and saviour at this point. "My Heart Wants Me Dead" is still one of my fav MF songs of the last few years, and she keeps delivering bops outside of Melfest so I'm hopeful, but idk why I'm expecting Jon Henrik to take the crown this year.
