June 26, 20196 yr I really like the songs so far but I’m still struggling to see who Louise’s fan base is in 2019? I hope the album does well but it really feels like it’s going to be an 18-out event?

June 26, 20196 yr I would assume her fan base (in terms of music) is predominantly gay men who were old enough to remember her at any point between 1993 to 2003! Having said that there's a few members on Popjustice forum who are definitely too young to remember her the first time around who really loved Stretch. I don't really have any expectations for her album in the commercial sense. She has a lot of physical formats (including a signed CD) & 7 months of pre-order, which could build up a few thousand perhaps. In October she'll probably need to do 4k to get Top 20. I'm just looking forward to more music, both Stretch & Small Talk are fantastic :wub:
June 26, 20196 yr I don't think anyone's realistically expecting more than that, to be honest. Maybe - just seems like a huge effort from her label (Mutiple formats, promo videos etc.,) for minimal return? Makes me think they are wanting/expecting more from this?
June 26, 20196 yr I have ordered the album too and I can't wait for it! I just cannot believe that after all this time we will have a Louise album in 2019! But I do also wonder what they are expecting from this. How can she expect much return if she has not done much to promote Stretch or Small Talk. Has she performed anywhere on TV? In my mind they are waiting to make some sort of impression with the Clean Bandit song. I think I saw on Twitter recently that she was in Portugal for a new music video.

June 27, 20196 yr Louise has actually worked with Clean Bandit! Louise announces her first new music in 16 years, a brand new album 'Heavy Love' released via ADA/Warners on 18th October 2019. Recorded in Sweden, London and LA, 'Heavy Love' is Louise's first album in 18 years. She has worked on the album with a sensational collection of music luminaries including Clean Bandit, RAYE, Eg White, Sinead Harnett and Karen Poole.
