Girls the single isn’t doing as well as we’d hoped...

I know let’s release a £19.99 limited edition Vinyl with all our faces on so fans offset the flop single by paying £120 if they want all of the versions!

Still there’s a free exclusive pink and white inflatable beach ball with every pre-order!

Ridiculous £19.99 for a picture disc of a single! 😂

#60 on Spotify...EEK.

The vinyl thing is a mess... they should have been like £8. £19 for a 1 track (and instrumental version) vinyl...christ.

This single is going to do big damage to the amount of support they get right out bat in future.

I still much prefer Bounce Back to the AWFUL Woman Like Me. Shame it’s flopping more than that did x

WLM didn’t flop ... 😂

WLM didn’t flop ... 😂

It was a massive flop x

I’m not being entirely serious tbh (it did “underperform” though).

I don't believe Woman Like Me underperformed at all - it's a top 2 hit that spent ages in the top 10 and has gone platinum. It's hard to compare to Shout Out to My Ex considering that launched with an X Factor performance, where total sales all counted at a ratio of 100:1 (nowadays, certainly since WLM has charted, only premium streams count at 100:1 while free streams are 600:1). This difference in ratios has slowed down total sales for EVERY song, so it's harder to compare like-for-like with SOTME. I think it was a massive hit and though it's not my favourite LM single, it's undoubtedly a huge smash and got LM5 off to a great start.

If the ratios had no changed Woman Like Me would have been their 5th million seller by the end of the year.

Why do we always go back to discussing if WML was a hit or not?

let's just let this song rest in peace. I'll just pretend they wanted to give us a cute visual and that's about it.

It’s probably my fault tbh :kink:

£19 per vinyl? I could understand if it was an album but a single? Jesus even Girls Aloud didn't charge that much when they did 7" picture discs on their singles!

I feel like this could fall out of the top 40 after its 3rd week....

That last part is point of contention for me.

2 weeks top 40 would be hilariously awful. Surely one of the shortest-lived ‘hits’ in the streaming era? Record-breaking queens.

But seriously, I’d just rush release a better song and hope everyone forgets this mess. I knew it wasn’t going to do fantastically when I seen its Spotify debut, but I don’t think anyone forseen this.

That's a big-ish jump, right? How many songs received Glastonbury boosts? (As that's the only thing I can think of as to why it's rebounded that much (due to Glasto effect wearing off etc..)

It's because the video was re-added to Hot Hits, so probably not that great a boost considering.

Oh it was?

OK. Haha. At least it's top 50 again?

I don't know whether they should rush release a new single or just stick with this regardless.

I'm a bit worried they are falling into dangerous territory with their last two songs not doing great at all.

That last part is point of contention for me.

I mean it obviously went downhill quickly but I don't think that was Woman Like Me's fault!!
