“Pushing it relentlessly” by publishing videos that they’d already recorded and throwing a couple remixes on spotify which they’ve done for multiple singles before? Seems like a reach.

 

They've made 4 videos and done individual vinyls as well as an iTunes pre-order and loads of competitions which they don't do for all singles.

Im over this now. They should just call this a promotional single and come back with a better single with the same amount of promo.

They should push Wasabi! It's TikTok streams are going up! It's benefitting the song a little on Spotify too so I imagine a proper video/push and it'd be at least another top 30 for them.

‘Wasabi’ would smash imo. It’s very telling that the public (well, TikTok users) have been so receptive to it with 0 prompting. Compare it to ‘Bounce Back’, which they literally couldn’t give away. Doubt it’ll be made a single with the whole Syco mess, but it really does seem like they’re throwing away an easy hit at this point.

Can they even get the rights? Since they split from syco..idk. But they should definitely try and make it a single, the videos together have almost 27m views on tiktok.. with a big spotify push, a music video and good promo it could be massive.

hmm I didn’t even think about the rights actually... but surely the girls should have the final say.

Surely the rights can't be THAT difficult given it's all with Sony Music? RCA and Syco sit only a few desks away from each other.

They’re almost certainly not going to release Wasabi. You’d be better off begging them to release one of the songs Leigh Anne and Jade wrote last week.

Meh. It's hard to be upset when the song itself is so underwhelming. Kinda' what she deserves etc.
