March 23, 20196 yr I feel the strategy is to leave the Will and Robbie duets to get curiosity plays come album release week. She might as well take advantage of them being on it getting extra streaming plays for the albums release week and thus chart position. The UK album chart rules weight the 2 most popular tracks down to the average of the others and then work out a ratio of X amount of streams equals 1 album sale. So the more spread out you can get an album streams the better (hence why Rita Ora and Clean Bandits latest albums despite average opening weeks are such consistent sellers as they have loads of hits on each so the top 2 tracks being weighted down means the other hits outside those 2 get all their streams counting towards album sales). So Emma's top 5 tracks streaming wise on release week will no doubt be - Baby please don't stop Too many teardrops You're all I need to get by 2 become 1 and the Will Young duet. I think it could help her streaming wise which will obviously be her weakness chart wise.
