This is really not good . The production and vocals do not sound professional.

Yeah this is by FAR the worst out of the 3 and not something I would go back to much at all, sounds very threw together. Hope the rest of the covers are better. Hoping this one was just because its supposed to be a family song with them all on it that it's less polished.
Was hoping for a proper pop comeback album for Emma. Really not liking this direction 😔
This is gonna sound mean but I really don't wanna hear her kids singing. It is so self indulgent having a song with her husband and kids on intro.

Yeah I think this as well. I think it is a cute song overall but nothing amazing. Definitely her worst song to be released before the album launch.

Too Many Teardrops was excellent and a new vibe for her. Sad she didn't go with that one instead.

Really cheap.

It sounds like this album really was done on the cheap. The quality is a massive step down from Life In Mono, which sounded polished & lush at times.

Let's not forget that this album (My Happy Place) is produced by the same people who produced the latest Alexandra Burke album. That says a lot about the budget & (lack of) quality of it.

Of course this album is cheap, I'd bet she was slowly making an album of original material when the reunion was announced and BMG insisted it needed to be out by April.

So she was rushed into doing a load of covers and all with the same producers. It makes sense from a timing and marketing point of view but I'm not massively hopeful of the quality of the covers.

BMG have released an amazing album with Gabrielle this year . Is Louise signed to them too ? Even her new song sounds more professional.
Also I'm convinced this song was picked to be used pre-album because it being with Jade is a talking point not because it is one of the better covers on the album.

Yeah unfortunately it reeks of marketing choices rather than quality....

I also assume it's because Jade is available to do whatever promo they want - they can't really release 2 Become 1 with Robbie Williams and I'm sure Will Young's management would block her from releasing that at the same time as his new single.

Tbh in Baby please don't stop she has a great song, getting decent streams for her and b-list on radio 2. She should be pushing it really, an acoustic YouTube performance video wouldn't go a miss. I get she might be waiting till release week to do Loose Women, This Morning etc but she could be a bit more proactive with it.

Her promo has been quite shite tbh. I hope she doesn't use You're all I need to get by for the album release week she needs to be pushing Baby please don't stop on every daytime show etc she can get on. That is a great song which will help people be more receptive to the album than a cheap cover version!

Yeah I feel a This Morning performance of it wouldn't go a miss tbh. The reception to Baby please don't stop has been very positive, it is not going to be a hit but it could easily become a song people associate with her and feel like an essential part of her discography if she pushed it more.

It has had a lot bigger effect on streaming than Teardrops or the Jade duet.

At least it had SOME promo. Sadly she isnt doing much for the rest of the songs...

The song is now available on her store for those who pre ordered the album

I love the new video she looks absolutely stunning in that sixties style image. Love Emma and Jade together the songs grown on me too
