JAY1's 'Your Mrs' has shot into the iTunes top 30 now from only barely being top 100 yesterday, just checked his Twitter and he's doing a Dave and pushing for iTunes sales at the end of the chart week (although it's not so impressive when he's just going for a top 20 position rather than #1 :lol:)

there's still different kind of low on tunes, ie #1 on a Friday and a song being 59p vs a Wednesday or Thursday and songs at full price

But what if it's been up and down all week and there's no clear trend? It must be quite a complex algorithm they use, whatever it is.

for a normal song in normal circumstances, Thursday streams are easy to predict, the weekly patterns are always the same

with a bit of machine learning techniques, its easy to predict

the problem is when songs are released midweek, then the occ just mades it up :D
