Summer Heights High is one of the best TV shows of all time. So, SO funny and as far as sketch shows go, he is a genius. So I'm naturally looking forward to this.

Oh I saw the trailer for this recently, it looks hilarious! Summer Heights High remains his magnus opus, I really didn't like the Ja'mie spinoff (and didn't bother with Jonah's) so I'm glad he's going for all-new characters this time!

Do we have a release date yet?

It really isn't funny at all from the first episode :( It feels very dated in its humour. They should have just done another Ja'mie spin off.
It's not getting the best reviews :(

Because it’s not funny at all, I was looking for the laughs and it just wasn’t happening. Shame really

Yeah this really just isn't that funny at all :( There's bits that are kinda funny and the characters in theory are good, but they're written in such a boring way. It's better than Jonah From Tonga at least, but then leaving Netflix on the profile selection page would be better than that. I don't know if I can really be bothered watching any more.
i echo pretty much everything above. i didn't really like jonah, angry boys or private school girl but we can be heroes and summer heights high were perfection. was kinda hoping this was gonna be along the same lines cos of it being an ensemble but there's not one character i really like. joyce has the most potential tho.
I tried watching more, I think I got to ep 6/7 even out of absolute boredom and no it doesn't. The only remotely funny character is Joyce.

christ :drama:

I've got to episode 4 and am really getting nowhere with it, in fact I'm finding myself skipping Gavin (like... is he not just white Jonah) and that CEO guy with a big ass. Joyce and the tall girl have potential, but the latter just makes me pine for Ja'mie tbh.

I'd say "grotesquec" and "tone deaf" are going a tad far, it's just not that funny. It's odd, as I said it's got characters who could be funny quite easily but there's just nothing put into them to make them funny.
