On Spotify both versions are being combined in US, because the original is bigger WW that’s the one that shows up even though the remix is on TTH. Most of the US streams will be coming from the remix now.

Only the remix is on the biggest US playlists; TGIF, Todays Top Hits, Summer Hits etc so it wouldn't make sense that it never went into the top 200 but the original did because even though the original is a big hit people will click on the one readily available out of laziness. It didn't even appear when it was used on US New Music Friday, still the original. (The global streams are mostly coming from the US as well)
