Yeah. At the very least the crediting should've been "feat. Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry & Various Artists". I feel like those 3 names do the most on the song, so would benefit from a separate credit.

EDIT: I also don't think it helps having the cursing in the song. The video and lyrics (for the most part) are SO child friendly! Pretty sure that would've boosted YT views a whole lot more and probaly would've gone a bit more viral with little pre-schoolers dancing to it and stuff.

Nah. Katy being credited would curse it even more x

Freaky Friday took ages to take off, dunno why people were expecting this to be #1 straight away???

Freaky Friday was an instant top 20 hit and #1 in its third week, that's pretty fast! There's quite a difference between that and this I'd say - this one has a much vaster array of big names and guest stars who all have their own fanbases to show interest. Lil Dicky's more of a known name now thanks to Freaky Friday too, and the video was highly publicised. Perhaps not an instant #1 but I did expect a better start than this, and I struggle to imagine this being the sort-of thing radio will pick up on (Radio 1 didn't even bother with Freaky Friday).

It's got great intentions, the video is wonderfully animated, is sometimes quite funny (Leonardo DiCaprio's bit did make me chuckle) and it's actually quite a catchy chorus, shame then it's ruined by the absolutely awfully cringeworthy toilet and sex humour throughout and stupid lyrics about 'lol I'm an animal' as well as the country lyrics already mentioned in this thread which were a bit dodgy, it could've been a bit more serious and focused and made much more of an impact. As it stands, it's a bit of a mess and I don't know if I'll listen to it regularly, but I support it staying in the public eye as the message is of course a great one.
I suppose not having any featured artists doesn't help, Freaky Friday was obviously with Chris Brown but "Earth featuring Backstreet Boys, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Hart, Miguel, Rita Ora, PSY, Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, Lil Jon, Adam Levine, Shawn Mendes, John Legend, Charlie Puth, Lil Yachty, Joel Embiid, Brendon Urie, Zac Brown, Sia, Hailee Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Tory Lanez, Bad Bunny & Kris Wu" is probably too much
Artists For Earth sounds like a good name x

Well this is certainly a thing that exists. I don't know why Lil Dicky of all people is trying to make a new 'We Are The World', this really doesn't work on any level, apart from a decently made music video. And I did let out a solitary giggle at Lil Jon's cameo. I appreciate the message behind it but not surprised at all that this has underperformed so far.
