They’re both capable of so much better, but it’s not that bad. It’s catchy as hell, Ed sure knows how to write a hit. As a side note before the chorus starts I will admit I was expecting Cheryl to pop up.

I was actually singing Cheryl after the 'I Don't Care'.

Yeh this song is incredibly disappointing, both are capable of so much better.

Not them covering one of Cheryl's last singles.

I went in with an open mind becuase I love Max and Shellback and enjoy loads of Bieber's stuff but it's... bland. Surprise surprise.

This is garbage. The lyrics are appalling, but it's Ed so par for course for him really.

I do love Ed but this is definitely not his best work. Not so much that it's bad but that it's so by numbers it's dull and lifeless. Even Justin, irritating as he is, has been capable of the odd moment of brilliance in the past ('Boyfriend').

This just all smacks a little bit of early 00s Whitney Houston, where she duetted with a load of other big names of the time on tracks that were devoid of any point or tune other than to go 'LOOK! TWO GLOBAL MEGA STARS! ON ONE SONG! DO YOU SEE? WHAT SHE JUST DID?'

Alas nothing I say will stop this hanging around like a fart in a lift for the rest of this year :jameela:

I quite enjoy this. I like Bieber, and Sheeran has written some bops in his time so it's a promising collab.
not terrible but it's nice.... Since its ed ft bieber its gna be a hit while this song would be a decent top 20 hit if any other artist had releassed it.
I don't care indeed, it's not terrible or anything but it's so bland I couldn't remember much about it the second it finished. It's pretty much exactly the formulaic hit you expect from them, so of course it'll be #1 forever and lingering on the spotify charts even longer.... Both are certainly capable of much better, this basically put those better songs in a blender and came out with a lowest common denominator version of them with nothing at all memorable.

Put any mediocre female singer on this and this would be getting rave reviews on here  It's certainly a lot more instant than Taylor's single IMO.

I like it but it does remind me of Cheryl too!

I really wouldn't actually :) Look at how the majority hated Taylor's single, people generally really favour Justin & Ed actually.... it's just this song.

I mean Taylor's single is being trashed by a lot of people here, including myself, so try again.

Taylor's not a good example, she's not that well liked at all on here

It would probably be liked a bit more if you put Haillee or something but a female voice is better than Ed's so makes sense :D Bieber saves this.

Let's not forget that Cheryl released a song with the same chorus a few years ago, and despite being heavily liked at the time, it didn't go down too well either.
As someone who actually liked some of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber's recent material, I still think this is a meh song even by their standards. It just feels really basic.
